My mach-e (2021 Premium AWD) is making chime sound after I turn off engine and electronics. I can hear the chimes from inside the car, for few seconds, after I close the door.

Has anyone observed the same behavior?

It is most likely the headlight switch bug. Turn your headlights back to Auto, and that should take care of it. The dinging is telling you your headlights are on.

It is a known problem. It happens to me once every month or two.

You may need to turn the switch away from Auto, then back to Auto. It's my understanding that in this bug the actual switch doesn't necessarily have to turn.

Yep, turn off the headlights, then back to auto. I had this happen only once, but the problem had been discussed recently on the forum so I knew what to do. ??

This just happened to me, I never changed the setting. I suppose it could have gotten bumped, but I suspect it is more likely a bug . The knob is tucked in pretty well and doubt I bumped it.

Oh, I also had a couple of other glitches in the past week. At the same time of the chime event, my memory seat didn’t seem to go up far enough.
2 days before, my radio presets were missing (I had my phone and keys, both identify me as the driver) but that resolved the next day.

so I seem to have experienced a couple of small glitches, all have gone back to normal. I hope that is all I encounter.

Make sure to save your profile to one of the preset buttons on the driver side door (press and hold while not moving until you hear a beep). That way you can press it and easily select your profile if you have a glitch and it doesn't automatically load.

I've had these minor glitches occur on a rare occasion, and hitting the preset button has fixed it every time. Just keep in mind to load your profile the car has to be stopped when you press it.

The only exception is the light switch bug, you have to turn the dial to something else then back to auto when that happens.

Thanks. I have it programmed, but never thought to press the button. I just used the controls on the seat to go forward a little more.
