Every couple of days I log into my ford account and see if anything has changed. It has not been scheduled yet (I know I should get an e-mail).

It’s a little silly, but just a habit now.

So today I log in and see something different. The E24 line that had been $0.00 was now showing $5,497.00!

I had chosen this dealership partially because they would sell you one with no dealer markup. Now this!

So I called and they said. “Don’t worry you will pay MSRP and you won‘t have to pay that” That if I cancel my order that will be the “fair market price” for someone that might want it.

Crazy stuff.

You at least need that statement in an email from them, if not a signed bill of sale with your OTD price itemized. If they aren't willing to do that, you should be on red alert.

No worries, lots of threads on the same thing.

If you have an agreed price, the price online isn’t for you. It’s for other people if you refuse delivery. In many states they have to advertise an ADM if they’re going to sell the car with one. So they put it up there now so they have an asking price when/if you don’t take the car.
