Reached out to the dealer for an update as Ford Chat had no change in status since departed Muncie, KS on July 18, and Union Pacific could not trace the railcar #. The dealer didn't provide any specifics about where it's at, or its last checkpoint, but instead said it is now expected to be delivered the week of August 10th. Ugh...

Also seems odd to say 'the week of August 10th' as that is a Wednesday.
My car was also supposedly going by Union Pacific, but I was able to track it using the Norfolk Southern phone number. If you railcar is also something like TTGX123456, maybe you can try this?

NS Norfolk Southern
1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: TTGX will be 8849
5. Enter the numbers then press #. It wasn't taking my voice prompts but typing worked.

When I used the Union Pacific number to traced the railcar, the automated system indicated it arrived at destination ramp on 6/27/2022 (today). Ford Chat should confirm this tomorrow .

Could that mean it reached one destination or another and switched trains and now has a new railcar #?

Ugh. That's a pain. Is it possible that they gave you the incorrect railcar number? I can understand Ford not having that information, but it does seem strange that UP seems to be saying that it disappeared into thin air!

I think my car arrived at my dealer. At least I got the email to complete purchase. I'm scheduled to pick it up on Saturday, but maybe I can get it tomorrow, assuming it'll take some time for them the charge and detail it.

Mine is still on a ramp in KC… May still hit the tail end of my estimated date range 8/6.

This is the hardest part of the wait!

I was about to tear my dealer a new a**hole because I haven’t heard a word from them. Finance guy just called, went over everything, no issue with options, X plan, incentive, or rate from when I ordered, relieved.

Mine is sitting on the train in the Vancouver yard waiting to be unloaded! So close to being mine.

That's BS. My salesman was out when I picked up my car...another salesman helped me finish the purchase.

i heard a lot of good stuff about this rep, he actually has a positive reputation across the web, and while i hate the added wait, had the tables been turned and i needed extra time, i would hope and trust he would extend the same courtesy.
