AHHH!! Amazing! My car is in their system with a load number and everything! That's the most exciting indication I've seen in over a month! Now to just figure out how to track the load number.

AHHH!! Amazing! My car is in their system with a load number and everything! That's the most exciting indication I've seen in over a month! Now to just figure out how to track the load number.
Might want to do a search for tracking, I know there's some trick to creating an account with them and getting more specific tracking with the information but unfortunately I don't know how to do that, I didn't dig any deeper when I couldn't find my VIN in their system :rolleyes:

Hope you can find something and you get your delivery soon!

newest update from ford.com is that is has been received by the carrier from the rail car. I would assume that means its on the truck to the dealer? they didn't have any access to which carrier as of yet. these last 10 miles from the rail yard to the dealer are torture haha

Might want to do a search for tracking, I know there's some trick to creating an account with them and getting more specific tracking with the information but unfortunately I don't know how to do that, I didn't dig any deeper when I couldn't find my VIN in their system :rolleyes:

Yeah, I just figured out how to do it. Bizarrely, you have to go look up the car on a mobile device and only there can you put in an email, which gives you access to the OVISS login which gives slightly more information. So I see now that the load number is currently inactive but the route is from the BNSF railyard in Richmond, so perhaps I am being affected by the BNSF embargo? It's only about a 30 minute trip between the railyard and my dealership, so probably this ticket won't go active until the day the car is delivered.

Ouch, I hope not. I read an article yesterday that the embargo was being extended into August. Still wouldn't explain why you never got any updates at all!

Ouch, I hope not. I read an article yesterday that the embargo was being extended into August. Still wouldn't explain why you never got any updates at all!
Yeah, I saw that. It would not be my preference. It seems that none of the cars being shipped to northern California in any build week since at least me have gotten moved from awaiting shipping status to shipped. Are we all waiting for a BNSF rail car that won't let us in? For all I know, this last mile delivery ticket was created back in June and it's just never been activated because the BNSF train never got here.

Edit: OTOH, I can now see a list of all the Mach-E's that have been delivered to my dealership recently. There are some with VINs before mine and some with VINs after, some Load numbers before and some after, so cars are getting there. Of course, I have no idea if their status was "awaiting shipping" until they appeared at the dealer, too.

If you are in their system then it should mean your car has been offloaded. I would guess you will have your car within the next week, fingers crossed.

I got excited earlier this week when the estimated delivery date got bumped from the original 08/03-08/09 up to 7/27-08/02, putting me in the delivery window. But my car's been sitting on a train lot waiting for a truck ride to the dealership less than an hour away, and now it looks like I'm on the "sliding delivery window" ride. Ticked back up to 07/31-08/06.

UP tracing worked for me - arriving City of Industry next Friday 8/5 … so hopefully early the following week in San Diego.

In my case, that meant that it was at the dealer. When I contacted the dealer, they said they would check their delivery lot, which was a couple miles away, and they were able to locate the car. I would guess that you're within a day or two of getting it since the dealer will likely detail and charge it up.
