Hello, now that I have my Mach E (GT). I'm wondering what is the best range for charging? 80-20% or 90-30% or 100-5% ??? I'm just wondering what is best to shoot for to extend battery life? I have herd that draining it down below 10% is bad for any battery. Sorry if this topic has been covered already.

Have you read the manual?

Ford recommends charging to 90%, go to 100% if you're leaving on a trip tomorrow. There is no reason you can't plug in everyday and have the car at 90% every morning.

You should feel free to use your entire battery - if necessary. In daily use, there is no reason to not charge overnight every day, so you'll not experience low battery levels. On a trip, going to 10% or even lower every now and then is fine. Most people charge on a trip when it gets around 20%, and go to 80%, when the charging speed slows down. Depends where the next charger is many times.

We just went on a trip, and arrived home with 15%. I'd rather arrive home with 5%. Next morning, 90% and raring to go.

Best is as close to 50% you can keep it. But that's not very usable. So depending on your day to day expected needs charge as you need to between the following ranges in the order of "best for battery":

1) 40% to 60%
2) 30% to 70%
3) 20% to 80%
4) 10% to 90%

Try not to use the top and bottom 10% if you don't really really need to as those do the most damage.

Keep it between 20-90% as much as possible. On trips you should target arriving at the charging station with between 10-20% for maximum charging efficiency. Only charge to 100% right before a trip.

Personally I charge to about 80% and I don’t plug in until I’m below 50%.

So with going low, like 10% on the battery is fine as long as you recharge it as soon as possible for best battery life. The battery doesn’t like to live at the top nor bottom of its capacity. It always likes room for power to flow. If it’s super low it’s fine as long as it gets replenished and exercised. Leaving sit for 2 weeks at 10% in an airport parking lot won’t kill the battery but some negligible wear will occur. It’s not a big deal as long as it doesn’t become a habit. Even with the most abuse possible the battery should still last 8 years at minimum. What capacity it will have left I’m 8 years to TBD. Should be at least 70% original capacity though. The battery will in most cases far outlive the car. These are not cell phones from the 90’s

I have my limit set to 85% of usable capacity, which is somewhat less than 80% of actual capacity. I tend to get the car to something below 50% of usable capacity before I plug in. Occasional excursions outside of the 10% to 90% envelope won’t hurt the battery much. Just don’t make a habit of it. ??

Exactly what Rick said...and charging to 90 percent everyday is what I recommend for all EV owners. You never know what type of emergency or last minute planned trip you might have the next day and if you below 50 percent then range anxiety sets in. So yeah charging it to a desired target level everyday is what I believe for battery health and better for OTA updates.
