Hey John, have you uploaded the video somewhere? Can you share the link or post it here so we can take a look?

Have driven the car several times last two days with no recurrence of the intense static/arcing sound. Very puzzling

Yep. I believe that’s it. Hard to tell how loud that is but that’s a huge element of this for me. It was deafeningly loud. Ear numbingly loud

Had same problem with my car today and made a video. Intense crackling sound from the speakers with car on and off that finely went off after switching the audio to AM station. Hasn’t repeated since.
Hi there, John! This doesn’t sound like the experience we want you to be having with your Mach-E. Please go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and dealership information. I’d be happy to look into these crackling sound concerns for you. Thank you!

This just happened to me when I started the car this morning. I was getting ready to disconnect the LVB and reset the car, and then it stopped. I think because the car turns the 12V power totally off after about 5 minutes. It has not recurred and I don't expect it will.

The sound is definitely coming out of the front audio speakers. I tried turning the car off and on multiple times. I reset Sync twice. Still there until the car shut all the power down. Probably disconnecting the LVB would have cleared it out also.

Hey there! I can look into your Mach-E’s noise concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

Yep. That was it. But, from memory now, it seems like it was much louder. However, that could be unrelated. Ultimately, my entire touchscreen was replaced. There were interim software update steps but nothing helped. Good luck. Ford engineering seems to have a good understanding of this issue now.

I just had this same happen to me in my 2022 GT. Did anyone ever find out what the issue is or had recurrences?

I noticed one other thing: the startup tone when you first power up sounds like older Ford models, not the Mach-E startup tone. Also the parking warning tones have changed as well, sounding much more basic. The sound system itself seems to be fine.

I tried resetting the Sync system but that didn't change anything. I also didn't have any software upgrades. I'm still on Power 3.5.2 which is what shipped with my car.

@Gimme_my_MME - want to be sure you saw this update.

PNW - it was definitely coming from the speakers in my car, and it went away after the car went into "light" sleep. I didn't notice the change in warning tones I guess because I was so distracted by the loud static.
