You hit the nail on the head. It was built in July 2022, after May 27, 2022, and it looks to have the same old part number in it.

Yeah, I think they were just saying they aren't sure since their parts department tried to order the old part number, which they may have been using the current part number as reference.

Probably just the parts manager having the old part written down in a list of common parts though.

Again feel free to PM me the VIN and I can help keep an eye on OASIS. It can tell us the exact fault codes, and we can see Vehicle History for what the dealer is doing. I think plenty here would be curious.

OASIS, in general, doesn't contain PII. It may have your first name if you have an extended warranty. But no address or anything else.

Can’t decide which is worse, they continued to put the old part in cars after 5/27 or the new robust part failed?

I think new robust part failing is worse, so hope they put old part in you car.

Vulnox pulled the codes for me which I'm posting below. Looks like a number of codes were being thrown from day 1 and based on the mileage I think before I took the car off the lot. I started driving it at mile 11 if I recall correctly.

Vulnox pulled the codes for me which I'm posting below. Looks like a number of codes were being thrown from day 1 and based on the mileage I think before I took the car off the lot. I started driving it at mile 11 if I recall correctly.

Your PNGs didn't come through, but this sounds like a car that never should have been delivered to you if the dealer was honest and did correct PDI.

And they removed all the stickers or indications of it being the old part? Lol, sure. You can't even order the old part, when you try to, it'll automatically order the new, revised part.
