Speed warning won’t turn off

This evening I was driving my mme and had a weird thing happen. I was in driver assistance and accidentally hit speed warning. It was greyed out previously. And now it’s saying I can’t turn it off. I’ve attached the screen shot of the screen. Also when I turned the car off it was saying mykey was in use and that settings would return to normal next time. I looked in my settings and it says 3 admin my keys and 0 other mykeys. After the safety recall update I’ve had issues with my Mach e and wondering if anyone might know how to fix this or what could be the problem.

In addition to the above message and doing some of the suggested items that ford mentioned like resetting my screen I still can’t turn off speed warning and finally got screen shots of the mykey message from before. I’m not sure if maybe that’s causing the problem although I have no keys registered.

Did you hold Vol - and > to reboot? Did Power-Up 3.3.1 install yet?

Yes to both questions. Even did a master reset.

Please follow the steps below:
1. Have your key on you
2. Go to your profile where you save your seat And mirror locations memory.
3. Remove your profile
4. Go to guest account and create your profile again. In this step you can add phone as a key by following on screen instructions.

Thanks for your response. I did that as well. And when I did the factory reset it deleted all the profiles. I have another appointment with the dealership for next month. Ford told the tech that they want them to run a self test on every module.

I went to guest account and found that speed warning turned off then went back to my profile and speed warning was activated. So I deleted my profile, then created new one and speed warning was deactivated. I have not done any type of reset during the process.

I when this first occurred I tried that. I went to my guest account and it was deactivated. Thought that maybe it was tied to my profile and deleted it. Then went to the guest account and tried turning on and off speed warning in the guest account and now have it stuck on guest account as well. I have an appointment on the 13th with my dealership to self test every module per directions from ford. So we’ll see. I’ve since had issues with my navigation as well.

Do you know if there's been any progress on fixing the bug? I am experiencing this too. Not only can I not turn off the speed warning, if I change it from 5 mph to anything else, it reverts back in a few seconds!

I have never seen this issue. I wonder why that is? Is it hands free BC related? I don't have that feature, so maybe that is why?

I honestly thought this thread was going to be about a driver who went too fast and the car wouldn’t stop reminding him. I don’t think I was even aware this setting was a thing let alone a potential problem.

I’ve had it in the dealership a few times and they still haven’t figure it out. They have all the latest updates installed. I have an appointment soon for them to replace a module to fix another issue.

I have the same issue. Master reset done, profile deleted etc... No changes
