Sure, but maybe its something similar to Jack Copper in KC where they just drive it from one lot to another.

I don't know which option would be faster.

Oh no! There is a RORO ship called the Lyra Leader that left Lazaro on the 11th, stopped in Long Beach, and reached Hueneme at 6AM today. I’m hoping your car is on there and the system just hasn’t updated yet.

No, unfortunately. I feel like I'm bugging living daylights out of them when I call for updates, so definitely have not seen the map. I think they added me to VinView texts, but my car hasn't moved since he added me so no telling yet sadly.

You're awesome at finding these ships. Did some research on that site myself, nothing else has really stopped at Lazaro Car. MH and headed for Port Hueneme other than that one. We'll just hope my car is there as it just arrived. I can only imagine the volume of cars on those ships. And I do agree, hopefully my car existing in Metro means something is happening. I wish I would've been more diligent about checking metro a long time ago to know if this is a recent or old change.

I know what you mean but we didn't even know Metrogistics was a thing until a few days ago. I'm still hopeful because I can put other valid VIN numbers in (ones other people have recently posted) and it gives the error not found vs what mine says.

Honestly, I haven’t found FC to be useful at all. It’s almost like they’re waiting for all of us to catch on and realize that.
My dealer has been very nice about sending me a VinView screenshot every time there is a status change (which doesn’t happen as often as I’d wish)

Just got a call from my sales rep because they had a cancellation on a premium rwd. Didn’t take it cause I really want a GT. I did ask him about any more updates and I explained to him the route yours had taken and he just said no new updates, your route never happened, they all go by rail to Detroit first. SO I’m talking to a dealer in Houston now who has a ‘22 available at MSRP (the exact build I ordered) and if shipping costs aren’t too crazy, I’m gonna be pulling the trigger on this one.

This dealership model is so broken nowadays. When the consumer knows more about the process than the people actually tasked with selling the vehicles, there’s a big problem.

UPDATE! I made it to the Port! My dealer laughed when I told him how we were able to track carrier ships and had an idea that we made it. Called dealer re: the car that @mserjohnb132 posted about earlier; too expensive for me to budge on (no price protection, high rate, no options incentive) and the dealer is about a ~1h45m drive away and they do not hold them until you get there, BUT my car hopefully will follow your path soon, @PTownMachE.
