Hi all

Picking up a new Mach E premium extended range MY23 next week and would just like any tips, tricks, advice. Finding the online info/faqs from Ford pretty woeful as usual regarding infotainment, EV charging promotions, pretty much everything. Plus the dealers arent exactly clued up on whats what, helpful enough but having owned a GT 5 litre I am more than aware that the premium end of Fords range really arent supported that well here in the UK.

Came from a Mustang GT S550 facelift, BMW M2 before that and awaiting an Emira 4pot which is taking forever.

Thanks in advance and hello all

Yes already done that mate and found some good info, so thanks everyone, i only search in the UK sections as cars vary from country to country. BUT I always appreciate peoples input on my own thread from UK owners regarding my specific model, the spec has changed for MY23 cars in the UK so currently going through the forum to see whats valid and whats not BOUND to miss things though so any info is welcome

I got my car in February. There are some incredibly knowledgeable people on this forum and you will find out a lot about what can and may go on with the car. My advice is keep it simple. Just drive your car and enjoy. If you have glitches or issues you will get a lot of help here.

Does the Mach E Premium AWD have a drivers memory seat function? I assume. It will adjust mirrors as well. Also how is it activated as on my M2 i had two buttons, 1 and 2 but on the Mach E I didn’t see any buttons, is it it depending on the key used or via the app only?

Found some info regarding buttons 1,2,3 on the door and setting up profiles on the app.

There are buttons on the door and you can map a profile to each key.

When I set the ford pass app up do I need to set up the same account on my partner's mobile or do I create a new account for them?

To add to this: 3 buttons, which can be mapped to driver preferences e.g seats and infotainment, but it doesn’t do mirror
When you say it doesn't do mirror I assume you're referring to rear view mirror? Surely the wing mirrors are part of the memory function?

Nope. Wing mirrors! There is a way to enable this, but it involves some fiddling with the modules and the only way to get this done is to have FRDS (ford diagnostic tools and software) and the courage to mess around with a 50k+ car and hope you don’t brick it…

Off the ford website '. This includes adjusting the seats and mirrors'

If this is true, then it must be a UK thing. I just tested it to confirm that the position of the side mirrors is linked to the driver profile and DOES change automatically when the profile is selected. It would be a pretty major miss if it didn't.

Correct. I’ve set button 3 to point the mirrors all the way down to aid in parking. I rarely use it, though. The cameras are normally sufficient.

Maybe slightly off topic, but do the side mirrors auto-tilt to a preset position when put in reverse?
