Departure Times is still broken for me, tried it this morning and the same issue, you set it on your phone but it doesn't get to the car even though it says it did. The message you have to look for to see if it did take is if the departure time shows up inside the button you hit to set the DT. One other point, it also does not work in reverse, if you clear departure times in FP it doesn't make it to the car so it will warm up next time around unless you go out to the car and do it manually.

I have seen it show up in the box with check mark success but still did not make it. Maybe it charging was the key it was awake ?‍♂. Will need to try when it is sleeping.

Just want to report I have the same hit and miss problems for many months. Especially at home when car and phone are on the same Wi-Fi. Frustrating to never be sure if the changes take or not. Even the top level button shows the time like it took. I usually have to turn off and on departure times in the app and if it does not revert then I know the car took it. But that can take minutes due to app lag. Usually faster just to go into the garage and do it in the car.

Maybe in some update someday it will work without issue as it did for the first year of ownership.

Same here worked flawless winter 21/22 never worked winter 22/23. Makes you think it is software (server) and due to the extent of time to address it it is something Ford is not too concerned about. Alexa and YouTube are much more important for proper operation of an EV.

Unfortunately my recent success was one of the random hits and removing that schedule was a miss :(. Still does not work here. Seeming I have reported my problem at every service visit with no fix I am thinking there is no fix for me. Maybe if you jump your contract (your guys) and go directly to Ford you will get it fixed? Let us know how that works out. Also confirmed that the 50KW DCFC's still drop to 36 KW at 80%. :( Wireless charging burns up my phone after a couple of hours and wireless carplay cuts out and gets disconnected. Don't put that USB hardwire away yet for travel. Always drives great just some long term irritating bugs. Bugs that make what could be a real good experience into whatever.

Well that someday was recently. I think with the last FordPass update I note now both my departure times and change in destination charging levels entered in FordPass seem to stick. I even updated multiple departure times it in my app, while sitting the car, and the car updated instantly. That had not happened in the past. I am going to call this issue fixed until it breaks again.

This. Last winter (21-22) it was perfect. This winter is was perfect as well — it never worked. The last two times I bothered trying the preconditioning via FordPass it was 50/50. That’s an improvement, but hardly a representative sample nor is it acceptable.

My departure time has been broken from the app for a month now. Not sure what happened. I've set the departure time from my car now so let us see if that works. Really annoying that it suddenly stopped working from the app. If I remove a departure time from the app, it pops back up after sometime again which is very weird.

This. Last winter (21-22) it was perfect. This winter is was perfect as well — it never worked. The last two times I bothered trying the preconditioning via FordPass it was 50/50. That’s an improvement, but hardly a representative sample nor is it acceptable.
The inconsistence of this vehicles software it enough to drive you over the top. Same procedure equals different results. If it does not work once than you can say it does not work at all. It did not work all winter but for Ford to not even acknowledge it as a bug/problem to date is the real problem for me. Cost of this vehicle and you have to go out in the cold to set a remote ev start (preconditioning) is just not right. But not knowing if it will ever be fixed or even acknowledged is the real problem.

Not only is departure time not working, but I find that home charging indicates wrong schedule - though I believe it charges per the correct schedule. If I look at details for charge on FP, it says 7:30 pm (I plugged it in at 8:15 pm so I don't know where that time comes from) and it will complete at 9:45pm. All strange since it isn't actually charging at all. The schedule is for midnight and that's when it probably charges. They really need to fix something that has been broken for this long!

So, as of Aug 19th, is this still a thing?
I am on the verge of moving from a '21 Mustang GT to a Mach E Extended range. Thus, doing a little research before the switch. But, seems like I should hold off, no?

I do not think he is talking about remote start which has worked OK ever since it went Bluetooth. He may be asking for what the title says remote departure scheduling and the last time I checked (after it was in for door fault error hardware and to lower my L2 charging) it was still not working. You have informed me it does not work for you either has that now changed? This is cold weather remote battery preconditioning not remote start which only heats up the cabin. Not sure at their location if they really need cold weather battery preconditioning I know at -15F it is handy here.
