I was in Iceland for a week this summer after the initial Rally tease came out. Much of the time driving there I was thinking that Mach-E Rally would be an awesome Iceland car!

Many parts of Iceland are windy gravel roads, plus lots of ups and downs over hills. I was having fun with the EV6 rental but was thinking about the Rally version. I really wanted to pass a couple of camper trucks on these roads but was afraid of rock damage the rental company would ding me for. A personally-owned rally car on the other hand ...

Then there are the "F" roads. These forest/mountian roads are dirt or gravel and have lots of rocks, etc. They are 4WD-only and may need even more clearance than the extra 20mm or ride height the Rally gets. I haven't seen those roads but a Mach E Rally might work with its new Aluminum Underbody Protective Shields – Front and Rear. However, those roads might need a Lightning instead.

I just kept thinking that if I lived in Iceland I'd be waiting for the ordering on the Rally to open up!
It would be perfect in Iceland, basically free electricity there. I would need a superjeep if I lived there! Those are awesome.
I went on several F-roads in a Rav-4 in the middle of winter, if careful I’m sure the extra 20mm would be plenty. Most of the F-roads were better than my driveway, haha!

I just noticed it doesn't look like is has a front camera?
Yeah, and the exterior mirrors look like mine (no cameras). I also think that in the interior shot the eye nanny camera is missing. So this prototype is very much like a metal roof GT-PE in that it does not have the Ford Co-Pilot 360/Active 2.0 hardware. So this particular prototype is incompatible with BlueCruise Hands-Free. ?‍♂?

I don't like the wheels or the white accent interior, but overall, really like the new colors and rally look. Would of bought it instead of the GTPE if it was available last year.
I can't stress it enough, I HATE the wheels. It might have a long tradition, but it doesn't mean they look good. Horrible.

Love the yellow and eruption green though.

Forget rolling it, hit a rock or a stump she's probably down for the count. It looks good in theory. Surely won't actually be used for any more Rally than say Pikes Peak.

Only saw one when I was there this summer. Lots of Teslas though. Absolutely beautiful country!

Was kinda surprised how many electric cars in general (seemed to be about as many as we have here).

Why surprised? Cold weather, low population density and very long distances between tiny villages.

Snapped a pic-
