2022 Mach E Sync is Preparing Voice Commands for your phone please wait

I have an Android Motorola Edge Plus cell phone. All has been working until a few days ago but now when I push the speak button on the steering wheel and say "Call...." I get this reply "Sync is preparing Voice Commands for your phone please wait". Prior to a few days ago all was working fine. The sync button works when speaking an address for navigation or requesting a destination POI (point of interest) it's just not working to find the contact I ask for and call them. My contact list is downloaded in my car. I reset sync. No help, I deleted my phone from the vehicle and from my phone and paired it and downloaded my contacts again no help. Anyone else experienced this issue and if so how did you resolve.

I got the same message once, about a month ago and I didn't do anything at all. It resolved itself within a few minutes and I've never heard it again.

Unfortunately in my case it has not resolved itself and it still continues to say "Sync is preparing voice commands for your phone please wait" for over 1 week now.

That's unfortuante Rob. So AA is not responding to voice at all then? If so, your delaer may have to get involved.

Hi Dennis,
The AA responds when entering a street address for navigation or to find a point of interest , it's just not working when asking to Call. I guess I'll need to seek dealership help.
