PowerUp 6.2.0 Released to EA Owners

Seems like I got new sounds with 6.2.0. The parking sensor sound is different, I got a chime when BlueCruise canceled on the highway (full cancel, not “hands on the wheel“), and a couple other thing’s like not getting the three songs when I opened the back hatch.

This is likely temporary and due to lower 12v SOC after the download of the large 6.2.0 update. It should go back to normal shortly

I don't have 6.2.0 yet, so I can't compare if it's a different sound, but there has always, indeed been a chime when bluecruise cancels. It's not loud at all and very easy to miss. Especially if the radio is on

You’re right, just temporary, back to normal sounds today. What’s weird is that I was getting those noises after a 90 minute drive, hours after 6.2.0 came through.

Again, how do you know the update is an EA update or not? You failed to answer that question....

Thats my point, you can’t assume everything is NDA unless it’s specifically noted as such. That’s how it works. Everything else is public domain and free for disclosure.

My Lightning Sherman just overtook my Mach E Marlin and jumped to 6.2.0.

I wonder if Marlin’s blown HVBJB put him in PowerUp jail? He’s at the dealership now.

Received this update this afternoon. Plugged in to my Emporia and when I checked status on the Emporia app I noticed the car is now pulling 11kw from charger when before it was only pulling 10.8kw. Not a big difference but wonder if Ford decided the onboard charger could handle more power.

Got 6.2.0 yesterday. Non EA. Screwed up, like many (most?) others, the auto-fold mirrors. Hello? At least it didn't screw up the radio presets (I know, an earlier OTA supposedly fixed that, but ...). I'll believe that the motion sensors stay off after a week or so, maybe.

[Edit: this is really weird: it turned off auto-update on the clock and changed the timezone by 4 hours, ie, 5:46 AM instead of 9:46 AM. I turned auto update back on and it got the right TZ (PDT). What's even stranger is that the navigation was OK. It showed an arrival time of 9:50 while the clock showed 5:46, which is when I noticed the glitch.]

Got 6.2 today. '22 GT, not in EA. No issue with mirrors or any other settings (that I've noticed so far). I did get a popup that my BC maps are out-of-date, which it seems others have received as well. Haven't had an opportunity to use BC.

My ICE F150 just got 6.2, yay

I had to save my asbuilt current config in forscan before installing to keep my massage seats and new camera views.

Given this update breaks things, run forscan and save your APIM data and reload post update to get all settings back.

My emporia 48 Amp EVSE has always pulled 11 kW. It is strange yours didn't.

Non EA here. Got 6.2.0 this morning. Knew something was up when my side mirrors did Not auto unfold. Also noticed a Carplay icon at the top of the centre screen. Nice!

I'm really nervous about this one. Last time my APIM was updated through an OTA it got corrupted and eventually bricked and required a swap.

I believe I know what you're talking about, mine does it sporadically and isn't update specific. I've had it happen for the 11 months I've owned the car through all the various updates. Sometimes when you start the car, there's a glitch where the sound "theme/profile" reverts to a regular built-in Ford theme, rather than the Mach-E specific theme. It usually goes back to normal after the next start-up.

I got 6.2 today Oct. 18. It turned off mirror fold and I noticed my wi-fi connection was gone too.
