I'm hoping it clears up on its own but I'm not holding my breath

I'm having the same issue with 6.7.0 .... trying to avoid going to the dealership and having them possibly make it worse...
Your best bet is to be patient and wait. They should start going quickly again soon -- probably early January if not sooner.

I called Ford support and they said that I would probably need to bring into a dealer to get it resolved. Has anyone seen it go away on its own?

Just be patient. There won't be a lot more updates pushed until after New Year's Day.

If you have made it all the way to the mid-6.x series, it sounds like your car is just fine. You may need a trip to your favorite beverage store for a bottle of patience.

It's also very likely there's also nothing your dealer can do about it either.

For the most part, Ford isn’t pushing PowerUps atm. There’s likely only a skeleton crew on duty to deal with issues that may crop up. No earlier than Tuesday is the earliest I’d expect to see the mass resumption of OTAs.

One of our 2023 GTs that were stuck with "Not Completed" has unstuck itself and it finally installed correctly. The other 2023 is still sitting at Not Completed. So yes, this should resolve on its own.
