My 2022 select (no hands free hardware) installed it yesterday; my 2023 premium (with HF hardware) installed it today.

Huh, I didn’t expect that it’d install in a car that didn’t have the Ford Co-Pilot 360/Active 2.0 hardware. Interesting. Maybe it’ll arrive in my GT-PE some time before 2030. ?‍♂?

Just got that today, too, John. Hope all is well! Your past update dates look the same as/similar to mine. I wonder if that is because we're in the same general area of the country.?

Getting updates is a riddle no one can answer! ;)

Got this today on our 23 non-ea, huge jump in versions, went from 4.2.5 to 5.1.1, ?.

I fine it interesting fokes state they’ve already had an update that includes the pre-conditioning of the HVB but this is the first update to actually say that for us. Other ones were hvac, improved dc fast charging module, 4.2.5.

maybe that’s why the release notes are re-used,?‍♂

Got it this afternoon, disturbingly...

Not disturbed to get the update itself, always glad to get updates (though they rarely fix any of the bugs I most often encounter). The disturbing part is that I was out at an appointment, and needed to get back in the car shortly for another appointment. As I waited to belatedly be seen at the 1st appointment, I got a FordPass alert informing me of the update. Glad it went through successfully, but if I'd actually gotten out of my appointment as scheduled, I'd have arrived back at my vehicle in the middle of the update, and who knows what would have happened if I got there and tried to open and start the car. I assume this was a "lock-out" update, which I'd have had no idea was happening, and might have panicked when I couldn't unlock the door!

And yes, since you're probably wondering, I dutifully have automatic updates turned on, and SCHEDULED FOR 1:00am...

Same here, much more concerned when updates are happening outside of schedule because I need the car, and there is a much higher risk of 12V battery drain/dying, especially with a dashcam. That would leave me totally stranded versus just updating on schedule at home where I have the resources (like I already told it to).

I got it 5.1.1 this afternoon as well. I was surprised at the timing, but now I’m wondering if we all got it last night or earlier this week and just got the notification of it this afternoon.

The car will receive the update, but usually doesn't install them till your set time.
