Best reaction your car has gotten?

Curious if anyone has gotten great reactions on their car.

Was just driving today and a guy honked at me and asked me to roll down my window. Just gushed about the cyber orange colour. Thought for sure he was pissed at my driving or something: was a welcome surprise!

Pulled up to a stoplight, and a bunch of teenagers were in their car (which was making some exhaust noises that made me think his car was a suped a bit) with the windows rolled down next to me. After a few seconds I could tell they were eyeing and talking about my car.

Light turns green, they take off moderately fast, (but not gunning it). I let them get a bit of a head start, and then floored it right past them like they were standing still. I could hear all four of them yelling "Whoooooaaaaaa!" at the same time and smiling as I passed them

Usually get old folks that gawk at my car. I’ve had three times where someone will stop me at a store and want to talk about how good it looks and how good the color is (rapid red). I get their story about their ‘stang and love to hear them. When I tell them it’s all electric, they gasp. Only once did I have an extended discussion on EV’s in general. They were ill informed and thanked me for my first hand opinion.

According to my dealer, I was one of the first in Bergen Cty, NJ to get the MME back in Feb. '21......I had several people making a video as I stopped at a light......had several "Ford makes a Mustang truck?" comments.....a lot of questions about the car and EV's in general.....best remarks were from Mustang owners.......people asked to take photos......I was sitting on my porch drinking a small glass of limoncello, my car was parked in my driveway charging and a herd of young girls 11-13 or so walked by, one stopped and was schooling all the others on the car, electric, the guy (me) was charging, it was a mustang, when she was done gave me a thumbs up, made my week, haha

only negative comment came from some old dude who said "that's not a Mustang", I just laughed and said, "write to Ford if you are upset", BTW I am old too....

now that I traded in my "21 Select grey for a "23 rapid red, I think I get more looks, but less conversations.....haha

Met some nice folks with a model Y last night, they'd had it 2 years, they just kept walking around my car saying, "wow, it's just so beautiful" then in an apologetic tone the guy says, "this wasn't an option when we were buying, you couldn't see or drive these..."

We went to pick up food at a restaurant with outdoor seating. I was driving and pulled up in front of the restaurant, hubby got of to get he food. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at the car. He went in and a women got up and looked at the front of the car. When my hubby returned, I told him to fasten his seatbelt because I was going to show off. No cars were coming so I hit the gas and could see people staring as the car zoomed away. I felt like a commercial.

Yeah it's funny, when I had my '21 shadow black I got a lot of looks but not a lot of conversation but since switching to the '22 space white just about every person that passes by comments on the color and then stays to check it out and ask questions.

I stopped at a local a strip style shopping area with a dozen or so stores and restaurants to pick up some takeout. I parked nose in to the sidewalk running along the storefronts. As I was getting back into my car, a woman, maybe late 30's to early 40's, walked by slowly, looking at my car. She passed it a bit and then came back looking at me in the drivers seat and then at the front of my MME. I could tell she wanted to say something, so I rolled the window down. She stayed more or less in front of the car glancing back and forth between me and the car. Then she asked, "Why doesn't your car have a grill?" I answered by telling her it was electric, had no "engine" and didn't need a grill but had front louvers that opened and closed as needed to help cool the battery as needed. She replied that she had "never seen one of 'these' before" and then moved on. I just thought it was funny/curious that she even noticed that there wasn't a normal grill and was interested enough to ask about it. She must have had some hands on or other experience with ICE cars to notice or care!

Stopped at a fast food drive through and a grizzled old man of the streets pointed to my car and declared, “look a Mustang Truck”.

The cyber orange definitely turns heads. I have gotten a lot of "hey that's an amazing color" from several people.

Was driving my mom around, she says "why is everyone constantly staring at us?" I told her they don't see us, they're staring at the car.

This dialog happened last year when not so many Mach-Es were around.

"Oh, they made a new Mustang? What year is it?"
"2021"
"And they put a gas tank in the front?"
"There is no gas, it's electric"

I came out of a wawa one time with a gallon of milk, and popped the hood to put it in the frunk. The guy setting in the F-150 next to me says "That thing runs on Milk?!"

Got passed in traffic tonight by a nice looking Mach-1 and as they passed the kid in the passenger seat took a good long look.

I can only assume they were talking about the Mach-E (they were behind me for a bit), and I'm guessing as they passed the kid said "Dad, this is nice, but we bought the wrong Mustang..."

Taking my pony to a few car shows and always have the fronk opened filled with Ice and drinks. The people's reaction is classical..they see the Pony logo and can't believe it's fully electric. One guy asked me if it's a V8 or V6...? and with two large V8 bottles on top of the ice telling folks it has a V8 in it. Some get it right away and some ask what are the V8 bottles for.
Got pulled over for making a illegal left turn? and first thing the officer said is I've always wanted to pull over one of these. Asked if I can show him my favorite feature of the Mach-E. Popped the fronk and got out to open it, then he belted out with a long dammmmmmmmm with eyes wipe opened...and of course he let me go!!! Thanks Mach-E!!!
