I was fortunate to currently have the 3 year complimentary Blue Cruise. However mine is a standard rage. I’m in the serious market for the extended range (23 premium). What makes the difference between 3 months vs 3 years? Job 1 or job 2? What tips should I be looking for? Thanks

Your current 3 year subscription wasn't actually complimentary. Ford just built $600 for it into the price of the car.

Yeah, it's surprising how many people say that it was "included", when it was clearly a $600 option.

Well, it was included in a lot of trims since those trims couldn't be configured without it. But it wasn't free.

When they went from job 1 to job 2, as you noted, prices went up $600.

Yep, and they made that obvious in 2021. It was buried in price increased for 2022, so less obvious. But not free, nonetheless.

No, but it will say if it only comes with a 90 day trial of BlueCruise.

More job 1 got a about 1.5 years for a trail and an offer to buy 3 years for 600. The 1.5 year trial when they finally got it on our cars in summer of 22 and they gave us a free trail until end of 2023. I took the 3 year renewal of 600 but after that at the current price BC is not worth it but at 200 a year I can swing that.

We are talking about 2023 vehicles. 2023.5 got 3 months. Earlier, job 1 2023, got 3 years.

So you have to find a first half 2023, which will include 3 years (at $2,100), or buy a 2023.5, with 90 days and then pay $2,100.
