With all the price slashes, for us earlier adopters, we are getting screwed on residual value.

2022 Premium AWD Ext Batt with 25,000km, went to two dealers this morning and trade in value is at $36k. Black book is showing MAX at $43k but dealer said it's unlikely any dealer would pay top dollar for these since they sit so long.

A 2023 gt is now selling for what I got my 21 premium for. I did a trade in estimate and with 51k kms got a range of 25-33k. Wow

Just traded mine in and got a half eaten ham Sandwich and a used pencil eraser for it .Only 9200 miles

Took mines to a dealer mind you my car has a little over 87k miles and they said its only worth 15k lol. I traded in a 2017 Jeep GC for this and got the same amount and that vehicle had over 120k miles.

Yea I traded in my 2021 Wrangler for $59k in 2022... Should've kept the Jeep.

I contacted another dealer and their trade in valuation was 38-40k. That seems more reasonable to me and now I find myself considering trading up. Wtf is wrong with me lmao

Finch ford Sarnia. I ended up buying from them but their initial trade in offer when I was in person was only 36k. I ended up getting just over 41K for trade in when the deal was done.

Got 41k for my 22 premium. And paid 56k for a 23 GT demo with 11,000kms on it. Pretty happy all in all.

As an update, I just traded in my '22 MME Premium Ext. Range with about 28k km for $40k trade in.

The constant drop in value was starting to weigh on me, so I am bailing ship for the time being. Also I am moving and charging is questionable at this point.

Traded in for an F150 with a 5.0L ? enjoyed gas savings while I could.
