Hi there, new here. I just picked up a 23 GTPE, and living in northern Canada, I don't have use for summer tirs. In the last few years, I have used both the Celsius and Cross Climates on various vehicles all season, and I don't like switching between snow tires. Overall, I have been very impressed with all-weather tires.
Having used the Toyo on two different 4 runners, I got to know them well and understand their limitations on ice. The cross climates are new to me, and I have them on my wife's Tuscon. They seem superior for traction on ice, not sure if that's the weight of the Tuscons phev batteries helping or the tire, and I see lots of recommendations for them here. I wonder, though, are they better than the Celsius on a GT? The toyos look a little more like a sport tire, and there is an option to get the sport version, with a higher speed rating. I was curious if there was experience comparing the two. I tried the search bar, but not much was mentioned. Is the high speed rating worth even considering them?
