I got mine at discount tire and had them price match Walmart when they were on sale recently.
Discount Tire. It was quick and easy. I tried to get them from Firestone but for some reason they aren't able to get any good tires for the Mach-E. I called them for two months and they kept telling me they couldn't order the Hankooks and the ones that they did recommend were always out of stock.
Thank you for your business!

I haven't paid attention to see if I have a bump in range to be honest. Compared to the OEM tires the main thing I notice is a significant reduction in road noise.
Thanks. No difference in range is a good thing, cause it could go down too. I’ll be looking into these tires this “winter.” Winter being a relative term.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 PLUS are incredible in all weather; you have to go with this exact model though and not the older one which is inferior. These actually even give me less wheel spin on dry pavement than stock pirelli summer tires on my GTPE.

These aren't tire suggestions but if you are looking for an EV SPECIFIC tire available here in the US, you might want to check out my list below. Brand and models listed with the tire category in italics. I listed both the 19" and 20" Mach-E OEM sizes plus one size up with each. The reason for listing one size up is there are usually more tire models available and running a larger size will give you a slightly meatier look, could possibly handle better and you can run them at a slightly lower tire pressure (37 psi) while still maintaining the proper load capacity which will give you a slightly better ride.

It is important knowing how to purchase an EV specific tire. Tire manufacturers custom develop some of their popular model tires specifically for EV vehicles so you have to be very careful when choosing a tire. For instance, Michelin makes the very popular Pilot Sport 4 summer performance tire and while this is not an EV tire, they do make one specifically for the Porsche Taycan that is EV tuned (I run these as my summer tires). Another example is Pirelli's P Zero All Season tires which are not EV tires but they do make one model specifically for the BMW i7 EV sedan which is EV tuned (I run these tires on my winter setup). The same goes for many other manufacturers. So when purchasing a specific tire, make sure you know the exact model of that tire you want. The Tire Rack is a really good place for finding and figuring out EV specific tires.

The EV tires listed above are available in the US. There are more EV specific tires available outside the US or not available yet in the sizes we need for the Mach-E. For instance Michelin's Pilot Sport EV and Pirelli's P Zero E.

Speaking of Pirelli's new P Zero E, which I am very interested in trying out, they have just been released in Europe and Pirelli told me they should be here in the US sometime in Q2 2024. It is a newly designed EV tire with their new "RUNFORWARD" technology which is similar but different to their current run flat tires but made specifically for EV tires. It allows you to run up to 25 miles with 0 psi and is said to have a very smooth ride besides being extremely quiet. Pirelli told me their new P Zero E tires have the least rolling resistance of any EV tire they have made so far.

Pirelli is really into EV tire manufacturing and has more models of EV tires and more car manufacturers equip thier EV's with Pirelli EV tires than any other tire manufacturer. Also, regarding Pirelli EV tires, they do not need to have the wording ELECT on the sidewall to be EV specific. Pirelli's general, non vehicle specific EV tires have the wording ELECT on the sidewall while all of their vehicle specific OEM EV tires for Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Lucid, Polestar, Volvo, Rivian, Porsche, Volkswagen, Ford, Tesla, Mercedes, mostly do not have the wording ELECT on the sidewall.

There are quite a few really good all-season tires in the 245/45/20, 255/45/20 sizes that are NOT EV SPECIFIC the I would recommend. They are the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus, Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, Michelin CrossClimate2, Vredestein Quatrac Pro, Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus, Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus and the quietest, smoothest riding tire of this bunch, the new Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3.

Tire choice is overwhelming. I have a 2021 Premium with 225 55 r19 on it now. I would like to go a little wider. Recommendations anyone? The list above is still a bunch to chose from. What tires did you go with?

I didn’t end up replacing the tires. I replaced the car with a 2022 MME GTPE

That’s just a teensy bit more expensive than tires. ??

You could put a 235/55/19 on the stock rims. If you do lower the tire pressure to 36psi. So the question becomes what are you trying to achieve?

There are quite a few really good all-season tires that are NOT EV specific that I would recommend:
Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus, Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, Michelin CrossClimate2, Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus, Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season Plus and the quietest, smoothest riding tire of this bunch, the new Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3.
Thanks for the list. It would be helpful to know what the rolling resistance is for these to compare to the OEM tires and to gauge what the range reduction would be. It seems hard to find that data.

The EV tires I see online for the stock 225/55/19 rims are Goodyear, Michelin, or Hankook EV Tires but hard to make comparisons to OEM.

The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S seem to be better tires in terms of handling but it seems to cut range about 10-15% which seems too much.
The OEM Michelin Primacy A/S are tried and true but mine seem to wear at around 40k, at least in the rear. Maybe new tires will last longer if OEM tires are made inferior. At least range is a known entity here if you get the same OEM tires.
The Hankook ION EVO SUV A/S tire seems to be well-liked on the forum but hard to gather range info from the forum. It comes in 225/55/19 now so it'll fit on OEM rims. Is handling comparable to OEM?

Do the 235/55/19 version of the Hankook tires reduce range or it is neutral when compared to the 225/55/19 version? Do they fit on stock rims without issue?

Sounds like your top priority in a new tire is range so if that's the case, I would go with either the Hankook's which as you said have been well received on this forum or the Michelin Primacy A/S which is one of their lowest rolling resistance tires. I would be willing to bet they are both very very similar in range. As you stated, the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season’s do reduce range around 10% as well as their Cross Climates and the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06+.

About going with one size larger, because of it being a wider tire, it will slightly lower the range but not nearly as much as going with a non-EV tire. I would stick with the OEM size and a true EV tire if you want the most range.

I went with Continental ExtremeContact DWS06+ on a 245/50RZ19. About 1”+ wider and same rolling size. Fits nice on the 7” wide rims.

This post edited to show the correct rim width for the premium wheel.

Unless you purchased aftermarket wheels, they are 7” wide.

I have MME GT PE with the Pirelli summer tires. I just hit 11K miles and I was down to 4/32 of an inch and had two nails in the tires. America's Tires has the Pirelli P Zero all season plus Elect (electric) tire in stock (in my tire size 245/24 20) and they were $110 off the cost. I like the tires so far, just as quiet as the stock tires. I have not had the opportunity to push them a bit on any corners. Around town and on the freeway they are great.

I have almost 6k miles on my Hankook ION EVOs and my range has not decreased. Handling is as good as the OEM Primacy's or better.
