Do the 235/55/19 version of the Hankook tires reduce range or it is neutral when compared to the 225/55/19 version? Do they fit on stock rims without issue?
I got the hankook tires installed on my MME about 10 days ago. Over the last 200 miles or so, they appear to have similar range and handling to the factory Michelin primacy tires. They do ride a bit quieter and smoother than the Michelin tires though. So far I like the Hankook tires. Got them from Discount/Americas tires when Walmart had them on sale in early June. Didn't get a chance to get them installed till last week.

I have almost 6k miles on my Hankook ION EVOs and my range has not decreased. Handling is as good as the OEM Primacy's or better.
Just lurking on this old thread. Itā€™s been 4 months since your last post on the tires. Do you have any additional thoughts on the Hankooks? Iā€™m currently at 48,000 miles, and I will be down to 4/32 in another 3-5 months. These are the only ones Iā€™m considering at this point, but donā€™t want to regret a choice. I canā€™t afford to lose range.

I got the hankooks installed about a month ago... No loss in range and they perform very much better than the stock tires, especially in curvy roads and wet pavement.

Jumping on an old thread because my GT (not pe) needs new tires after I got a nasty flat they canā€™t fix. All 4 tires need to be replaced. My car is at my local dealer is recommending either the Goodyear eagle sport all-season, the Michelin crossclimate2 a/w, or the Michelin pilot sport a/s 4. Iā€™ve asked if they have the Hankooks. While Iā€™m waiting for a reply, does anyone have any thoughts on the 3 tires the dealer wants to sell me? The car isnā€™t drivable. I live in Colorado.

If range/efficiency wasnā€™t such a big deal for me, the Pilot Sport A/S 4 would be at the top of my list based on reviews and reputation. But Iā€™m afraid I would lose some range from the Primacy A/S tires that came on my Premium RWD. In your situation that may not be the case. The Cross climate 2ā€™s may be a good choice given your Colorado location.

thanks for the reply! Range isnā€™t a big deal for me since I mainly use my car for shorter local trips. I donā€™t have a commute and we use my husbandā€™s ice car for road trips. While road noise reduction would be nice, Iā€™m most concerned about handling and safety. The pilot sport, hankook ions and crossclimates are all basically the same price right now.

Or the Quatrac Pro is a great choice and will outperform the CC2 in the wet and dry they are even in the snow and rolling resistance. Also, the Quatrac is not directional so it can be 4 tire rotated as needed because the MME is so heavy. Available at Les Schwab or Tire Rack

Whatever you land on, shop around and have Ford match the price. My dealer would not match the Amazon price, he said it had to be a brick and mortar store. Just FYI.

They canā€™t get the quatrac in quickly, sadly.

TR does have them, and car dealers can order through them but most don't like to.

I'm at about 14k miles on them, no issues, no noticeable range loss.

Well, I went out today and had a set of the Hankook ION EVO SUV's installed today 225/55R19 at America's (Discount) Tire. The manager said he was unable to recommend them "because they were too new to have reviews" (actually seemed like he was trying to dissuade me), but I told him that's what I wanted. They matched Walmart price of $224 each, and gave me another 5% off for using my America's Tire card (so they were $213 each, and I get 9 months with no interest). I will give them some time, and report my impressions and range results. The OEM Michelins were at 4/32's at 48,000 miles, and I'm hoping for similar wear with the Hankooks. The car sees mainly freeway miles, and I will continue to rotate the tires every 7,500 miles.

Appreciate you taking the time to share and thank you for your business! Enjoy your new ION EVO A/S SUV tires!
