Sync can't connect to a WIFI but my iphone

Just bought a dash cam DVR recently that has its own WIFI through which can connect to you phone, using the phone as its screen, itself doesn't have any screen to display. My iphone connects its wifi without any problem, my SYNC sees the wifi but fails to connect.

Any idea? Anyone? I have not tried rebooting the SYNC. Maybe I should?

I don't think what you're trying to do will be possible. That Wifi being provided by the dashcam is just for using the phone screen to display a video feed. Are you thinking that Sync could connect and show you the dashcam video feed on the center screen? It won't.
Also, if CarPlay wireless / Android wireless are in the mix, then your phone and Sync are using the wifi for that connection.

The reason I tred to get sync connected was to see whether the sync screen could display any video feed. I was thinking about running carplay to get it on sync screen too but the problem is to do that I have to connect both dashcam wifi and sync wifi the same time. Iphone only takes one wifi at anytime.

Another problem too, I got to have the dash cam app to show a video feed but I don't think sync allows to install any app.

So it's a mission impossible.
