Best way to fix paint chip/scratch

My car was parked in the NYC garage lot for a couple of weeks, and inept parking workers scratched it from both sides by opening doors of other cars right into mine. The parking manager, of course, denied any responsibility.

I have dark matter gray MME.

What would be the best way to do the paint correction for this scratch and chip?

Should I look for some Ford-certified shop, or any body repair shop will do?
Should I be concerned about rust in the chip, or is it not that deep?
Is it okay to use some DIY polishing solution for the scratch, or it's not a good idea?
