First of all I want to thank the forum in general. I purchased my Mach e like two months ago. Soon after I joined this Forum for its incite on the car and for ideas to make it my own with customization. I had a problem with my modem having no connectivity and no connected services two weeks after my car purchase. Ford and the dealer were no help. But I learned from the forum to unhook negative terminal on battery for ten minutes and that would fix it. I did that and it was fixed! Thank you saved me a lot of time and headaches with ford and the dealer.
Now for the title of this post. As I stated earlier I like to customize my vehicles and make them my own. I’ve been following BSKT Design on this forum and its product developments. I decided to purchase the “Baby” wing and received it a little over a week ago. Aaron (Newtype311)on the forum did a really good unboxing and review of the baby wing! I advise anyone thinking of buying this wing or anything from BSKT Designs to check out his unboxing and review videos. They are top notch videos and I pretty much agree with everything he said. I just so happen to have a grabber blue like him,but mine is a premium.
My impressions of baby wing I’d
like to add.
1st the turnaround is very impressive for a custom made product shipped from china,about 3 weeks.
2nd the packaging was very well
Done no chance of damage.
3rd the product itself I got the gloss black which was a perfect match to the rest of the black making it look stock,especially the Premium Mach e which has a lot of gloss black trim. Finally it fits like a glove,honestly this could not have fit any better. The install was extremely simple and hassle free. Took me around 20 minutes couldn’t be easier. Again most of that is attributed to the fit everything just lines up perfectly and easily. I was considering another wing similar to Baby that can be purchased on Amazon. It is cheaper and you can get it much quicker. But and this is a very big BUT…I read reviews of that wing and it may or may not have a problem with the fit. I chose to go with the guaranteed fit from every review of every product I’ve researched them making. I’ve never read one bad review! And I know from many years of experience that cheaper usually isn’t better. Quality takes money,time and lots of effort to achieve. I mean these are hand made for you in a couple different materials and looks like you can have any custom finish you want. These aren’t plastic wings produced in a factory thousands at a time. Again I couldn’t be happier with the choice I made with BSKT Design.
Final impressions. If you want a good quality fit,attention getting wing this is it!
No it’s not for everyone I realize that. Some people like a more subtle wing and I appreciate and understand that. But I wanted something that stood out and I think the back of the Mach e needs a little flair. Customizing a car is about having a passion for that vehicle and wanting to make it your own. I think the guys at BSKT Design have that passion for the Mach e. From what I’ve seen on this forum and their website they have something for everyone’s tastes in customizing. Next on my list is there front grill non gt one. A area lacking on the non gt’s that I think deserves better then the decals you can purchase now online. So eagerly waiting on them to finish this project. Again want to thank this forum for great information about issues that come up with owning such a tech heavy car. And giving me the opportunity to purchase accessories from a great vendor like BSkT Design.
