Shipping Update — Lunar New Year Edition

As many of you know, China is currently celebrating the Lunar New Year — and this year’s star is The Horse, which feels very on‑theme for our illuminated Ponies!

Because of the two-week holiday, UPS is temporarily closed, and although all ULTIMATE Ponies are fully ready, we can only begin shipping at the end of this month.

UPS also informed us that when they closed for the celebrations, they still have 25,000+ packages waiting to be processed.

This means it may take 1–2 weeks for our Ponies to actually be shipped once UPS reopens. We know it’s not ideal, but we prefer to be fully transparent.

The good news is: your ULTIMATE passed all testings, Pony is built, glowing beautifully, and just waiting for its turn to fly.

So I’ve had this light up pony from BSKT installed since November 2025 when I bought it. At first it was great. Really bright night but over time sections of the pony don’t light up any more. Does any have any advice? Kind of disappointed with this.

There were some that in the feet of the pony, the LED's would go a little dimmer than the rest of the pony over a period of time. But some the LED's would go completely out. I'll DM you for some information and see what can be done.

They were going to ship on the 15th but UPS has delayed shipping in China siting "the current state in the middle east" as one of the issues. I have everything ready to go (boxes, shipping labels, etc.) just waiting for the ponies. I was not going to post any updates until I got conformation things are moving and when I do, I will post it.

The delay was completely out of our control. The Chinese New Year and war‑related airspace restrictions pushed back the UPS pickup. They have finally arrived in the US, and as a gesture of appreciation, everyone will receive a small compensation gift for waiting with us.

I've also installed BSKT's ponies front and rear. They look great and function well. Front is easy so long as you're ok removing the frunk trim and tub (it's not as hard as it may sound).

The rear is easy if you don't care about the reverse light function. The hardest part is removing the old pony which is agressively adhered to the hatch (there's no adhesive on the front pony). A heat gun, string and patience are key. If you want the reverse light function, I would say don't bother. The bright white light washes out the reverse camera at night, and it adds significant time and complexity to installation. I went through the extra effort just to go back and unplug it after a week.

Agreed. the reverse white looks great, but it does affect the reverse camera.

This is a niche product. It takes time, especially when you really want it. One thing I can say is communication with BSKT Design has been great. Very open and informative.

We don’t think so, though we don’t have detailed feedback on the GT light—just that it looks great, consistently earns 5-star ratings, and people say the startup is really cool. No reports of it affecting the cam, even with the reverse white.

No, I've not noticed any significant degradation without the reverse light connected.

Absolutely in love with my Mach E with this upgrade! It makes her shine at night and during the day. The customer service is also amazing! I would give it a 10/10! Highly recommend this mod. My baby looks hella mean.
