No Complimentary Blue Cruise with New Mach-E Purchase

My Blue Cruise service "expired" two days after my purchase early last month. My dealer initiated a ticket with Ford to fix the problem. In the meantime I paid for a month of service as I wanted to see how it worked, and I knew I had a couple of road trips planned. My paid thirty days have now expired. I have followed up with Ford twice, and only have been told my claim is being looked at, and that I would receive a call to discuss the matter. So far, no call and no service. Any help @Ford Motor Company?

'23 Job 1 - 3 years BC included - use it all the time.

FIgured I paid for it, might as well use it on my road trips like today I'm going on.....

BTW: BC 1.2 to 1.3 OTA updated recently, but nothing useful IMO - will try it again as TSB 23-2155 has been repaired...

I have it. It's nearly useless. Hardly ever use it.
I use it all the time for highway driving. It’s not self driving, but it takes a lot of stress off of long drives. It would not buy another car without it.

Might want to get it looked at. Your camera might be out of alignment. I had it drive me over a 150 miles without having to touch the wheel once. I have 1.3

BC works only in ideal conditions and only on certain highways. mach-e does not have the hardware powerful enough to operate BC in a better way. compared to Tesla it is 1/50th of it's capabilities.

BC won't get any updates in 5 years due to limited hardware, by then it should be free for all.

The MME is much quicker to drop ADAS features than my '19 FAV4. It may be a positive feature, if the car is not sure, it returns control back to the driver.

What does your windows sticker say? I'm guessing you bought a new demo or they sold you a new car that had BlueCruise activated early (what happened to me). Also check your warranty end date.

I have the same issue. Says, ā€˜Front Facing Driver Camera Fault’ When I took it into the dealer, they said they might have the car two days. This was when I only had 2k miles on the car… And if they couldn’t replicate the problem, they won’t pay for the rental I would get. Took the car back and I’m recording the times it does this. Will take it back later with these recordings. Might need to use the Lemon Law here in California for it.

Btw, I figured out if I don’t pull the steering wheel all the way out for the most comfortable driving, I don’t experience the fault thing as much. I was reading something somewhere earlier last week that the cable they used is too short. Thought about it, and boom. Issue practically resolved. Bummer I cannot pull it out for my comfortable position driving.
