Frunk options

In the UK spec, is there any way of opening the frunk, other than with the handle? It seems daft that you have to open the passenger door to open the thing.
Mine is MY21, I don't have anything on the key or on the main display unit, where I can release the boot, so I thought I could use the keypad on the drivers door, but that doesn't seem to work either - has anyone had any success with that?

There is an update that now allows you to get the Mustang Key in UK which will open the Funk on the key. Go into your Ford Account & check for recall upset it will be in there

Assuming I'm understanding your question correctly, the Ford Pass App allows opening the frunk. I have done so many times.

This is on the key fob you have an extra button. I personally never use the app to open anything

Thanks Peter that would be fabulous if I can upgrade the key, it's going into the dealer for some stone chips next week, so I'll ask them.

Steve - in the UK, the FordPass app doesn't have that functionality annoyingly.

Mine’s an early 21, first delivered in Nottm I think, always had a boot release button
on the key.

Never really given alternative froot release a thought.

Is there a frunk/froot release button on the center screen like on the US cars? I think that (if present) would suffice in this particular case. ??

It is in the screen where you can change driving modes. Not sure if it is available on all years but did appear on my 2021 model after the Sync was upgraded to show the controls for changing temps on the big centre button. Certainly available on my new one

If you click on “Service” at the bottom of the main screen in FordPass and then click on “Customer Service Program(s)” you will see any relevant campaigns. Note clicking on Customer Service Program(s) is finicky and you may have to try touching the words a few times for it to register the touch. Not sure why.
