Thought I would tackle the above mod so taking note about the clips going walkies I duly set about removing the two covers.
Yep, as careful as I was two clips fell into the innards of the car. Could not see them and there ain't no way I'm poking about down there !
Don't suppose anyone has a part number for them, too new I expect, searched hundreds online, can't find a Ford parts list.
Here's a pic of one of the beggars that didn't escape.

I like the way you done the plugs.
There was a thread on this a while back. Here in the US we can get these plugs from our Amazon. I know you have Amazon there but I don't know about availability of these plugs. They would be the sort of thing you'd find to plug a cable access hole in a desktop, roughly 6.35cm. The handles are drawer pulls from our Lowes DIY.

Taking out the frunk tub to get your clips back is about a 10 minute job. They're likely sitting in the flexible panel underneath the tub. There are some holes they can fall out of, but first they'd have to make their way back under the motor where the drain holes are. I found two of them and they'd been sitting in there for months after our local tech popped them off and never said anything when giving the car back (and didn't replace them).

I've ordered some from a local Ford agent, one day I will try and find them, meanwhile I will try and replicate your mod.

I don’t know how I’ve done it but my frunk panels have been removed maybe 4 times now and I haven’t lost a single clip, although I do keep a few on hand.

Maybe if I had bought some spares first I wouldn't have lost mine, ?

The first time I said I had never lost one was the first time I started loosing them. Good luck!

I expected the same! Haha

After pulling my fender flares for painting, a few clips broke. At that point, I ordered the clips for all body trim and the frunk as well. Had to put those FordPass points to work!

I had my frunk apart several times to figure out how to put in my jump points. I thought I lost a clip, but it just came off of the panel and stayed stuck in its spot in its mounting boss. ?? of course, now I’ve jinxed myself and I will lose several the next time I have it apart. ??

That looks terrific! Fixed external battery junctions with no cover removal. How did you do it? (And why does Ford not deliver the car that way?)

Yup, jinxed myself. Lost two changing the quick disconnect to a beefier one that can handle the heat. Time to order some. ??
