Hello,

Recently I've been noticing that when in adaptive cruise control, sometimes the set speed is white but usually it's green. When it's white it's hard to charge the speed with the steering wheel controls because it is unresponsive. Any idea what the color means? I've attached photos. Thanks!

I think changes to grey when the driver is accelerating past what the speed the cruise control is trying to maintain. Like when I exceed the set cruise control speed to pass or I’m pressing on the gas even though the car is trying to maintain the prescribed distance from the car in front of me.

Could be wrong but that seems to be my experience

OK I got back in town. The CC speed setting number turns white when the driver applies enough of the go pedal to maintain it increase the vehicle’s current speed, regardless of the CC speed setting. If you are using Adaptive Cruise, the car could be going 42 while the speed it set to 65 due to the car in front of you. It would still change to white if you applied enough pedal to maintain or exceed 42. Verified this morning in my 2024. ??

I didn’t comment on this because I noticed that there is no car in front it in the first picture. I wasn’t sure why it was going below the set speed.
I played with it this morning too, except I was able to adjust the set speed with the buttons while I was on the throttle. ?‍♂

Take your foot off the accelerator pedal if it's gray. Or press it harder so it gets going.

Also, if you have your foot on the pedal and you try to use the SET +/- buttons, it will slave the target speed to your current speed. So you need to take your foot off to change the setting, or accelerate to the target speed manually and then press set.
