Is heated steering wheel no longer part of remote start?

My car and app have been updating. Now when I “remote start,” FordPass shows me a slider to set the cabin temperature. But I’ve noticed that when I get to the car, 3 times now, when I get to the car, the steering wheel heat is still off. For 4 years now remote start, in cold temps, has automatically turned on the cabin heat, heated seats, and heated wheel. Is anyone else noticing a change in behavior?

I will test mine in a bit, as it was still working yesterday. However, I still do not have the slider you mention in Fordpass, so that update may have something to do with it.

So, low and behold today I DO have the new controls. I just had to press the button above the sliders to activate the heated steering wheel and it worked.

Those buttons above the slider is something I have not seen. Also my temperature shows in Celsius despite being in the US. Time to learn the metric system I guess.

My remote start feature went away a long time ago, not sure why.....

Did you try to change it to Fahrenheit in FP?

Is this the iOS version of the app? If not what version of the Android app is it? I don't have the slider, etc. on version 5.10.0

I'm on 5.10 Android and have those options.
You have to start climate FIRST and then you can click on "Climate Settings" that appears below the fan icon once it's running.

It’s enabled in one of the 10.x OTA updates. Then it requires a server side change, then it shows up on FordPass.

We Canadians are taking over. It's time the US got in line with the rest of the world! Base 100 measurements! First the temperature, then healthcare! The US can be Canada's 11th province!

Do you see the Climate Settings box after you turn on Climate? Just tap on the Climate Settings box and those settings will appear.

Edit: Also try force quitting the app and try again if you don’t see it.

I've check the FordPass app, and see no option to change it. The car itself is set to Fahrenheit. So, confused.
