am/fm radio reception

Is there anyway/download to improve am/fm radio reception. Am is almost always impossible to hear and Fm keeps on getting interrupted by some other channel in Connecticut. I'm on Long Island

No. It's an issue with EVs. Ford tried to eliminate AM from vehicles in 2023 and the US Government pushed back and told them no.

FM is theoretically less subject to crosstalk. There are tons of factors that impact terrestrial radio reception.
AM radio is still used in some areas to provide both traffic and emergency information, hence why cars were required to have AM receivers.

It's probably your local reception environment. I think in NYC there are a bunch of guys that run illegal FM stations that are probably interfering with regular stations. If that's the case, then report it to the FCC.
