TL;DR: If you're in the market for a premium SUV / sports car, get the Mustang Mach E -- you won't regret it!
How can I be so sure? My daily commute is 145 miles (72 miles each way). That's nearly 3 hours/day in my 2022 Mach E, driving through two cities, lots of stop-and-go traffic, and curvy side-roads of New England. And it still puts a smile on my face each time a get behind the wheel.
Two important caveats:
That's it for caveats..Everything else below is glowing review of all the reasons why I enjoy my Mustang Mach E so much (and you will too).

Two important caveats:
- I have a Level 2 charger at home, which makes my daily commute doable. If you drive less than 30 miles / day, the Level 1 home charger that comes with the car is probably sufficient. Either way you'll need reliable access to a charger.
- My Mach E Select doesn't like pot holes -- especially if you're sitting in the rear seats.
This isn't an issue in the GT trim, with its Magnaride suspension, but on my Select trim the rear passengers are bopping around like a can of beans in the back of a Jeep Wrangler. Young kids seem to enjoy it. But please keep grandma in the front seat.?

- Forget the environment, I calculate I'm saving no less than $5000/year owning this car. That's tens of thousands of dollars over the life of the vehicle. Keep in mind I live in CT with expensive fuel, and the highest electricity rates in North America. But given my long daily commute, plus the absence of ICE engine maintenance, it's like putting money in the bank every time I drive by gas stations. I guess helping the environment is cool too.
- Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I love Whisper mode.
This is the quietest car I've owned, and it's smooth --even when I pop it into Unbridled mode for some fun passing, the car barely hums. (Those loud sports cars seem so...last century.). Get with the times folks; fast cars don't have to be loud. - "Man, that''s a good looking car!" I get complimented on the looks at least once a week. When I'm at the car wash, people will often ask me what type of car this is, and comment on the good looks. It's stunning in Shadow Black.
- EV's like Mustang Mach E offer 21st amenities not available in traditional luxury cars, like AutoPilot, and BlueCruise, and super-quick on-demand torque. I had a woman who was coming out of her Mercedes ask me what kind of car this was. When I told her it was a Ford Mustang, she was incredulous. (Too bad for her. I used to own a premium German luxury car, and know what kinds of service costs she's in for.)
- It's been super-reliable. Over two years of ownership, I only had one repair. Apparently I overheated the wiring harness by driving it too hard on a blistering hot day. (Ummm, let's just say I'm glad the ? weren't out that day.) This was a known issue for my '22 model year, and Ford dealer replaced it quickly at no charge. Honestly, that was the last time I saw my dealer.
- Concierge service is AMAZING. I've owned 12 cars over several years (ahem, decades), and no one welcomed me like Ford with their concierge service. It was like having a personal assistant help me get me familiar with the car. They were super friendly, and helped me feel welcomed.
- What better way of helping me feel welcomed, than sending a welcome-gift, in the form of a Tesla Supercharger adapter. I use this charger all the time for conventiely located supercharges on my commute. Thank you Ford!

- Safety, safety, safety! This car has so many safety features, my auto insurance rates actually went down when I traded in my Infiniti for the Mustang Mach E. That's impressive -- but not more impressive than being rear ended at 20 MPH, and walking away with no injuries! My auto-body repair shop was amazed how quickly the replacement parts came, and my Pony was back in service in less than 10 days:

- In case you're wondering, this last picture is what the rear motor looks like, which sits between the rear wheels, under the car. The motor was completely unharmed. I actually love the simplicity of parts in this car. Fewer parts = fewer repairs.
- And here's the picture of the other guy's car, who rear ended me:

- As you can see, the Mustang Mach E fared much better!
- Finally, here's photo of my repaired Pony car in it's natural habitat:
