Glad to hear your thoughts on road trips and charging. Enjoyed your other road trip videos very much (watched them multiple times)!!

With gas prices going up I think I've got the wife talked into taking our MME (instead of the 23 MPG Explorer) on our upcoming 2,000 mile (round trip) road trip.

Edit: OK I just watched the video. Everyone has to see the 'post credits' scene at the very end. It's awesome!!!!
Ahhhh thank you! I'm glad to know you like the post credits too! That's one of those *we think it's funny and hope other people do too but they might just think we're dorks and that's ok* sort of things haaha
Exciting about your road trip potential!! From where to where?

Yes it was great.

The trip would be from metro-Detroit, MI to Gulf Shores, AL (right on the beach). We’ll see what happens, she’s talking again about taking the Explorer. Booo.

Unfortunately, the stupid cancer killed my dog last week, so no more dog-related dirt until I find the right dog. ??
Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. Your poor dog. Like Patrick said, we lost our dawgie, Muggle, a month ago today. I thought I was doing ok and I found a piece of his fluff under the table this morning. I went to throw it away like I always do and I realized this would be the last piece I'd find. Our dawgies are beloved. They're family. I'm so sorry for your loss.? Pardon my french but f*&k cancer

I'm a subscriber and always enjoy your videos. Apologies if you've covered this in other videos and I've just forgotten, but curious about the future of your car...how long do you plan to keep it? Has your first year influenced that (positively or negatively) in any way?

Keep up the great stuff!
Hey Doug! And Julie!
I mean, I've had my gas vehicle for like 15 years, so if that gives any clues...if I like something, I stick with it. And I really like the Mach-E! Like, a lot! That said, getting to try out the GT Performance Edition was pretty epic and Patrick convinced me that we should put an order in for one. So, if we were to not keep our First Edition, it would be to switch to the GT Performance. The first year has been an absolute pleasure and I don't feel any urge to switch EV brands personally. It's still the prettiest EV on the market to me and that's a big factor. How do you feel about your Mach-E?

oooh, well that looks like a super fun trip.
I have no incentive to contribute other than....you'd look more badass than in the Explorer......one of the charging stops is at the National Corvette Museum...so...sightseeing excuse! And did I mention it looks more badass? Also...comfortable...also....because it's fun? I'm no help.

Well the Explorer ST is bigger and less bouncy. It has virtually the same acceleration speed/power and also has the adaptive cruise with lane centering just like the MME.

Great, now I’m doing it too.

This quote always sticks out in my mind whenever I have one of those thoughts of the inevitable future
Dogs might be in just a small part of our lives, but to them, we are their whole life

Great video Patrick and Liv, orderd a GTPE Space White metallic back in early December and have been watching your videos since about the Mach-E and other EV's. Great info I've learned from you guys from charging to awesome accessories for the Mach-E to which you don't see from other YouTubers...(I'm sure the free accessories are NICE?) but you guys present them well.
Got a production date 04/25 last week the same day my dealership called me to ask if I wanted a cancelled order on a 2022 Premium RWD and bought it the next day. Named her Appetizer because I'm keeping my order active and when the GTPE comes in gonna sell the Appetizer, then naming the new one Ginuwine.
After a week having this car has been amazing, it's my first EV and absolutely LOVE IT!! I know Patrick said one of the main reasons you guys bought the Mach-E was because of it's looks...lol well I felt the same way when I first saw the Pony. GOT TO GET THAT CAR?
Keep up the good work and here are some pics of her. The color is Iced Blue Silver

As Liv said... if anything, we now want a GT Performance Edition. Our Mach-E has exceeded my expectations overall. My biggest worry when buying the Mach-E was would we be OK with an electric vehicle. And it's been great. I've now realized that about 50 weeks per year, I never think about range. I unplug the car and drive around for the day and then plug in when I get home. On the road trips, we haven't run into any major issues, so that got rid of those worries.

We sorta just rambled about stuff in the video but I love everything about our Mach-E: performance, ride quality, looks, etc. I wish we had BlueCruise by now, but that might be my only real complaint.

And as Liv also said, we put in an order on a GT Performance Edition. We're still not 100% set on switching but I knew I should get an order in early. I think I placed the order just a couple of days after we drove the GT and GT PE out in California. If we can make the numbers work, we'll do it (and make a video about it ? ).

She sure is?...I know you two been really debating on getting a GTPE or taking the difference and getting another car under 20k. Ok ok... get the GTPE that you ordered(you know it's a much better performing car with that MagneRide in her) and just keep making great YouTube videos then go buy a car under 20k?
Did you guys order the same color and did your order go in production date yet?

Let me help you out here - I just drive past a gas station. The sign said $4.19
Need I say anything more? ?
By the way, Lincoln might want to consider putting a “Mark E” on their product roadmap for everyone who is demanding a posh ride ?

We went with Grabber Blue again. I was really tempted by CyberOrange though. So far, no production date and I ordered in early December.
