I got my 2025 premium last month and the headrest is driving me nuts. It's way too far forward for me and it's not adjustable, forward/back. It's only able to go up and down. Right now I have it as high up as it will go even though I'm only 5'2" because the tilt is so far forward!
Is this something I can adjust somehow otherwise or just buy a different headrest somewhere?

Not sure if the headrest is the same as my 2023 premium version, but for mine, I had to pull the headrest towards the front windshield to get it to reset its position.

This video helps demonstrate what I mean.

This one won't pull forward.
My last car was a subaru and had this ability, so I know how to do it.
It seems like such a basic feature, right??

Would you mind posting a picture of your headrest/whole car seat? I'm curious to know what you're dealing with.

The Selects have a fixed, forward tilting headrest that cannot be adjusted — unlike premiums or GTs @e_riggy. Your profile indicates you have a 2025 premium. If that's correct and the headrest doesn't adjust by pulling forward on it and releasing, then this is a warranty issue.

Either warranty or yet another case of Ford decontenting…

Possibly. I saw no reference to headrest content changes in 2025 models in a quick online search. Most of the hits though refer to this website, so …

We are definitely in a circular look up when finding Mach-E stuff.

I picked up my 2025 Premium last week and the OP is correct - my headrests do not adjust like my 2021 headrests did.
That's a change they shouldn't have made, I love how my 21's headrest adjust, not everyone likes their headrest in the same spot.

And if they are going to make it fixed they need to make it fixed in the back position.

Yeah so I'm trying to upload pictures but for some reason the forum won't upload them correctly.
Anyway, trust me when I say they are far forward and totally lame.
Any fixes? Can I replace them with something else? Pretty lame because I paid extra for the sport appearance package with the red stitching.

I did try taking out the headrest, turning it backwards, and putting it back in. That's a little bit toooo far back, but I guess it works on long road trips when you need to stretch your neck.
