I got a surprise OTA notice on my 2021 Premium ER RWD yesterday. I do not see it listed in the forums.

Priority Update - Lane Change Assist
07/23/2025
Lane Change Signal

This update adjusts your vehicle’s software to ensure the Lane Change Assist turn signal flashes until the lane change maneuver is complete. Currently, the lane change assist turn signal flashes 3 times.

Weird. My lane change assist when used always flashes the signal until the change is complete. 2021 Job 1

@elmedico27 New OTA.

Edit: DC in the OTA name means "direct configuration", so it does not update any firmware; just changes some configuration. PTS always says these config only updates require WiFi. Most likely, this config in this location is what was changed:

I wonder whether this is really necessary.
I received the BC-25.DC when driving back home from work. And I am pretty sure that my WiFi is offline all the time. And even if it would be on, neither at work nor at home I can connect to a WiFi network as I am parking in underground garages w/o connection to a WiFi network. So for me it's really impossible that I received this OTA via WiFi.

I have always wondered the same thing. It is possible that whatever needed to be downloaded was downloaded while connected to wifi and then installed while driving. The only way to know for sure is if someone reports getting one of these updates without being connected to wifi at all. I never have my truck connected to wifi, but I have never been sent a supposed wifi only update to test it.
