Thank you for the very comprehensive instructions. I wish I had this when I accidentally tore off my charge port door because I pulled away from a charge station with the charge cable hanging on my charge door. It cost me $860 to have a body shop install a new charge pocket.
I also received both the BC 1.3 and Consistent Battery Performance updates this week for my 2021 Job 1 Mach-E Extended Range Premium. I really like the improvements between BC 1.0 and 1.3. The lane centering and lane change are excellent.
When my BC trial subscription ended, adaptive cruse control with lane centering still worked. I lost the hands free feature. The BC button just becomes the adaptive CC and lane centering button.
No, not me. But I bought a 3-year BC subscription for my 2021 -job1 today on the promise that I will receive the 1.3 update before September 23, 2024. I have an email from Ford that documents this "guarantee". However, I'm prepared to request consideration if I don't get BC 1.3 by the date...
I am in the same exact situation as you. I was contacted by a Ford Connected Services sales person last week and was offered a 1-month free trial for BC. I am still waiting for the free trial to be active on my 2021J1. I was also informed that when 1.3 gets released (supposedly very soon)...
I ordered mine on 02/29/2024. Checked the status online today, 04/18/2024, and it still shows shipping in May. I haven't received any shipping notifications.
I tried to get a BC subscription using my 30K points and was told that is not possible at this time. When I asked if Ford is considering changing their policy, I was told maybe but don't count on it.
I averaged 4.2 miles/kWh with the OE tires in the summer and averaged 3.7 miles/kWh with the RFT Bridgestone right after the tire change. This was not a scientific test, just my normal day to day driving.
I recently put Bridgestone RFTs on my Bolt and the energy efficiency took a 10-15 hit. I am purchasing EV OE tires next time and hope I never get a flat.
I had my 2021 Premium RWD with big battery HVBJB recall done at the end of January. It took them 2 weeks to complete the work. They blame the lengthy time on other MMEs in line ahead of me.
