Would you pay $498 for a used A2Z NACS Tesla SC adapter ?

Short answer: No.

Longer answer: I don’t DCFC much so I can wait on my reserved Tesla adapter from Ford. Even if I did DCFC a lot, I would rather buy one direct from A2Z.

Are you referring to A2Z adapter or the free one from Ford. Lots of us ordered Ford adapter on 2/29.

I got my A2Z in 3 weeks - paid $15 extra for overnight and received it just before my road trip.

Definitely not. After using my A2Z a couple of times, I'm not really that impressed with it. The locking mechanism is pretty sketchy, and I've had some problems getting the NACS cable to lock in (it usually takes me 2-3 tries). I look forward to the official Tesla/Ford adapter.

No. Even not if Tesla plug would be a thing in Europe.

We can use Tesla chargers for some time already and they hace CCS here too. But I wouldn't buy an adapter even if required. There are enough other chargers all over the place - So I could deal with no Tesla.

Honestly if it was still available I might've pulled the trigger; I've already paid for an A2Z and a Lectron adapter and placed a first-day order for the official Ford one, and I have very little faith I'll have any of them before I embark on a 2500 mile move in a couple weeks.

Then maybe once I got there I could find a sucker willing to buy it for $400, cancel my other orders and wait for the Ford one.

I called and a young lady told me my delivery date was set at the time I ordered it. There was thousands of people that ordered in the first few days, some of them even have a September delivery. So, I guess Ford doesn't practice "First Come, First Serve".

They also told me not to buy an aftermarket adapter. It could Blow up a Charging Station or Damage my battery and Ford will not cover any of the damages.

So I guess again it"s, "believe half of what you see and none of what you hear".............................

I'm sure that's what the seller is hoping for. There's always someone who can't wait and is willing to pay the price. Whether the seller and that buyer connect is another matter.
