Yep, Gates Stevanage were awesome. Updated Sync, Valet job was incredible, looks as goos as it did when I first got it. Also gave me a MachE as a loaner . In Fact , I could have picked the car up on Saturday as the windscreen was replaced on Friday but they wouldnāt have been able to wash it in...
I got mine back about an hour ago. Dealer told me the same thing, about not being able to order a spare windscreen if you donāt have a pano roof. It can only be ordered in the event it cracks during the reseal. Still , Gates Stevenage weāre great, I got a MachE loaner while my car was with...
Correct, it was a reseal job. I donāt have a pano roof. Iām enjoying the loaner car in any case , nice upgrade from mine . So they can take their sweet time sourcing the replacement .
Took my car in for the windscreen recall . Windscreen was damaged when they were trying to remove it . New windscreen ordered . At least I got a loaner , AWD, ER. In the no longer available blue.
well according to the last email I received from Ford, there are some software updates that are scheduled to be carried out at the dealership when I take my car in for the windscreen recall and one of those updates "Resolution of error that inaccurately understates driving range' even so in...
Precisely. If an Airtag that you donāt own is near you for an EXTENDED period of time, this can be anywhere from 8-24 hours before you get the alert that youāre being tracked and this is assuming the car thief is an iphone user. Regardless its more than ample time for the owner of the AirTag...
I went through this a few months ago , and took my car into the dealership multiple times. The description of the e-heat function is misleading . It sounds like a boost but in reality itās the only way to get heat in the cabin . The supposed heat generated by the battery is bullocks. Check out...
E-heat, the
Please note, I was told to disable E-heat , Not turn off the heater . Turns out E-heat is the only source of heat in the car and they obviously thought otherwise . To be fair E-heat as described even in the cars dashboard is misleading . It is described as a āsupplemental electrical...
Thanks but apparently Ford engineers didn't realize the same because they've told me and others in this forum, (I have emails from them) to make sure E-Heat is turned off when attempting to heat the cabin. Not just that, I've been called 4 times by the Concierge service attempting to help...
This is the same experience for me. My car is booked in at the dealers next Monday to look at this but if the consensus is the only way to get heat in the cabin is using e-heat (which completely decimates my range by the way) then I won't bother taking it in.
No it doesn't. Even The Ford Engineers recommend not using it. Email from Hannah 01/09
Good Afternoon Ben
I hope you are well and keeping safe.
I hope you donāt mind the email Iām sending over about the potential heating issue that your car has been experiencing. I saw the issue on...
