An alignment check is one thing, but there's rarely anything off enough to justify a full alignment that can't be in some way noticed while driving the vehicle. So in most cases the alignment check really isn't necessary, either.
Now, for the average vehicle owner, that...
I generally don't get too hung up on aesthetics however this is kinda ugly (or at least the lighting in your video doesn't do it any favors). As a concept it's most excellent. Can that textured shiny black piece be printed more matte to match the other controls in the car? [I don't do 3D...
The USB port will always work and third party adapters for whatever latest AndrAutoPlay that comes along a decade from now will provide future functionality (I was using a usb adapter for wireless Android Auto with my last car, for example).
At worse you'll need to load up a USB thumbdrive with...
That's fine for the 2% of all commuters with no choice, but there's more than that on the roads during storms. In some people's minds it's an opportunity for some excitement or they think they're more critical to the infrastructure of life than they really are. Or don't want to burn a sick day...
Worse case lawyer up. If the work is being done under warranty, they could do a buy back if persuaded. Ask Ford customer service if they prefer to buy the car back or buy the car back AND pay for your legal fees. I bet they will opt to buy it back (if they have any sense).

[thanks for following up on the charge button trick working, I'm willing to try it but don't need to...
I took screenshots from the charge pro app but wonder how we'll know the pertinent update is applied, there's no firmware or update date listed only the firmware version number.
My MME Select (LFP) is 72KWh. It consistently estimates 230-240 miles. I've never had it on any longer trips, but even the longest around town driving (well over 100 miles) I've not dipped below 50% charge. It may never see a longish roadtrip, but there's strategically positioned charging in...
It's was OE/manufacturer, they weren't that bright probably to err on the side of caution for possible regulatory reasons. They did class up the interior of that Kia tho.
My prior vehicle had similar interior LED strips and they were much dimmer even on their brightest setting, but good to know they're not *that* bright.
