New to forum and car

Ordered it October 9 and drove it off the lot on March 24. Really enjoying it so far.

Nice car. That tagged is unnecessary. You cannot start the car and drive without unplugging. It's impossible.

But is it necessary to start and drive in order to take flight?

Congratulations on your new car. On a side note, love the garage floor and your cabinets in the background.

I forgot to ask, since I will be getting mine in a few weeks.... did you order your vehicle with active park assist and did your car come with it? I know that some of the "future" cars will not have it and it will be added by the dealer later. I am hoping that the cars being delivered now are not impacted.

Thanks, and you are correct. Retired as a developmental test pilot a few years ago but still manage flight tests for the military. And I guess you're also right in that aviation geeks get it. Saying that, I not only put it there as a homage to flight, but as a reminder to my wife to not sit in the car before unplugging it! Glad you like the idea.

Ha! Thanks! I actually scrubbed the floor before I put the new Mach E in the garage!

Yes, and yes. But to be honest, I just assumed it's there. I haven't tried it yet.

Very nice! I'm New to the car and the group too! Had a Tesla Y Performance on-order but happened on a dealer with a Grabber Blue 2021 Mach-e GT that someone ordered in 2020 and was just delivered but the buyer backed out of.

Both my wife and I LOVE the Mach-e! We've only had it a couple weeks and neither of us can see going back to ICE for a DD.

I too love the tag on the cable, my grandfather was a pilot and retired a 747 Captain for United. Welcome and Enjoy!
