  1. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

Out of curiosity, I’d like to see a serious analysis and discussion of the aerodynamic considerations and properties of the Luce. (Not that I’d understand it, although I believe Steve, the human kept by a certain @HuntingPudel, could dumb it down enough to explain it to Pebbles the 🐩 and me...
  2. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

That reminds me of something I heard Jay Leno say on Leno’s Garage along the lines of ā€˜Ferrari drivers brag about how few miles they have on the car and Porsche drivers brag about how many miles they have’. I’m sure like anything there are exceptions.
  3. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

    šŸ™ā€¦Grazie mille … !
  4. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

But lost in the shuffle is the recently announced MB AMG GT ā€œ4 door coupe ā€œ EV. Reportedly limited to only 186 mph. OMG, what was AMG thinkingšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø. Another clear miss ….šŸ˜Ž
  5. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

You got that right…except it’s not for the merely high net worth rich, more like the very, very high or ultra high net worth rich.
  6. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

šŸ˜Žā€¦I have seen top speed reported to be 193 ā€¦šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  7. Ferrari's "Luce" enters the EV World!!!

….šŸ¤”ā€¦. early reporting on the Luce is a bit light, so to speak, on details but indications are it has no frunk, no ski pass through, and less than 300 mile EPA range estimate … with such huge misses, one wonders what Ferrari was thinking, obviously this car is a non starter, perhaps Ferrari will...
  8. Ultimate Pony Front and Rear - BSKT gets it right!

I just received the front ultimate lit pony. I’ve not installed it yet as other projects are in the queue and the pony, to its consternation, must take its place at the back of the queue. What I want to share is that as nice as the ultimate BSKT pony looks in pictures, the pictures do not do...
  9. SOLVED: Frunk unlock

CR2450…I just changed one a few days ago…
  10. SOLVED: Frunk unlock

https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/frunk-stuck.47579/ Check out the above thread. You may wish to reconsider simply using the old school double pull lever.
  11. I learned somewhat of a shortcut for the AC controls

That’s awsome! I think I’m going to rip off the 5 Spurs cover on my car’s screen knob, along with the oem knob, and replace it with that great looking Honeywell ā€œknobā€, and while I’m at it I think a suicide spinner knob for the steering wheel would really be a classy addition to the MME...
  12. Very Disappointed in my 2026

(A tongue in check observation.) Ford is not decontenting and cheapening the Mach e. Ford is cleverly positioning the car upmarket by emulating the options and packages pricing approach of the upmarket German brands. šŸ˜Ž
  13. Mach E rentals

Sounds like a nice trip. Just a thought…unless you really need a car everyday, why not take the train from London to Birmingham? My experience with trains in Europe has been good. Personally I find it relaxing to let the engineer do the driving while I just sight see. When you’re in...
  14. A visit to the Skunkworks (Ford's EVDC) -- behind the scenes tour

I suspect Ford backed off the trike concept when Ford realized they couldn’t possible hope to compete with Morgan in the trike market place.
  15. A visit to the Skunkworks (Ford's EVDC) -- behind the scenes tour

All of you provided great reports! Thank you, and hats off to Ford. To have been on that tour would have been to be a kid in a candy store!
  16. Mercedes GLC EV looks... familiar

Styling preference is subjective (with some exceptions like the objectively hideous Pontiac Aztek). To me, the Mach E is a better looking vehicle than the new GLC or Neue Klasse BMW ix3. Although those two reportedly have the goods on the tech side.
  17. My Mach-E has just been christened!

I think Reddy Kilowatt is a distant cousin of mine … my grandfather Edmond Reddy immigrated from Ireland to America in 1867 and settled on Staten Island…a large Irish-American family sprang forth with some members, like Reddy Kilowatt, being more electrifying in their presence than others ā€¦šŸ˜Ž
  18. Compass

My father, born in 1905 and died in 2001, is said to have learned to fly in a Jenny. From the very little I know of them, I’d guess a JN4. His flying days predate me by more than a few years.
  19. Compass

AAA Trip Tiks … now that’s a blast from the past!!šŸ˜Ž
  20. We know what the cancelled Ford three row looked like now

Perhaps he left Ford ā€œto pursue other career opportunitiesā€¦ā€ šŸ˜ŽšŸ©. Don’t you love corp-speak euphemisms…
