  1. Anyone else have a disappointing test drive?

After driving two BMW i3s over the past five years, I can't imagine driving a car without one-pedal driving. I suppose the MME might not be as smooth, but I agree with the others above that it takes a few days to master it. That said, I don't recall being nauseous in the i3 while I was learning.
  2. If I order now, when will my build date be?

Following this thread as I hope to get delivery between July and October and have been trying to guess when I should order. (My lease expires on July 1, but I have the option of extending by three months until Oct 1.) At this point is there any thinking that an order after a certain date might...
  3. Embargo lifted! Discuss the Mach-E first drive videos/articles HERE

For those of us that aren't in a position today to watch the dozens of video on the other thread, can someone make a suggestion of the best 1-2 to watch?
  4. EPA Certifies Mach-E Range Targets, 300 Miles for Premium Extended Range RWD

I currently drive a 2018 BMW i3 with a range of about 120 miles--that's worked nicely the vast majority of the time, so I'm fine with the standard range battery. For my part, I can't imagine hauling around the extra battery 363 days a year for the 2 days that I would like the longer range. But...
  5. Mach-E Financing and RCL Leasing Program Announced

FWIW, the residual on my 2018 BMW i3 lease is 61% (30-month lease), which is equal to about $30K if I were to buy it at lease end. FMV value of a low-mileage 2018 i3 is about $10K less than that.
  6. Mach-E Financing and RCL Leasing Program Announced

I have leased two BMW i3s. Both times the $7,500 was listed as a credit against the selling price. Additionally, I leased both cars *after* they announced that the next year's model would have increased range. In both cases, BMW ended up *increasing* the residual to make the payment lower. The...
  7. Remote features of Mach E?

Can you activate heating or AC via the remote?
  8. Dealer says Mach-E test drive demo unit arrives late November - early December

I just got off the phone with them and they told me the same thing--due to the coronavirus. If that were true, wouldn't they not be having test drives for *any* vehicles? That said, I'm happy to just sit in the car for now.
  9. 2021 Mach-E Mustang Online Buying Process Detailed

The increase in the standard deduction doesn't change the fact that if you're a W2 employee, you still have federal tax withholding and you can change those amounts to reflect that you will have a lower tax liability. And if you make quarterly estimated tax payments you can do the same thing.
  10. Tax Credit Help

Completely agree on this if you have the opportunity to do it. For the dollars at stake, it's worth checking with a tax pro on how to max this out.
  11. Too early to reserve? (Mach E wanted 7/2021)

I appreciate the earlier answers as to when to order a Select to time a July 2021 lease expiration. On one hand, if it came earlier than I needed in the spring it wouldn't be all that bad since my monthly lease for my i3 is only $170/mo. OTOH, using the extra three month option on my lease to...
  12. Too early to reserve? (Mach E wanted 7/2021)

I'm new here and have a similar question as to timing on when to order a Select. I also have a lease that expires July 2021 (although I believe I can do a three-month extension) and I'm getting the impression that I should probably be moving now. Until finding this forum, I must admit to being...
