  1. Original 2021 Owners - Check In

Picked up our 2021 Premium Standard Range Infinite Blue in July 2021. 17K miles now. No significant problems with it, although reading this forum always makes me feel like something could happen at any moment. I'm not sure if we *love* the car, but we do like it quite a lot and will likely keep...
  2. JuiceBox (Enel X Way USA, LLC) shuts down business in North America

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer from a technology perspective, so trying to figure out what I need to do now with my JuiceBox and the Enel-X app. FWIW, it's an older model that I bought in 2016. 1) At this point, my app still seems to be working. The sliding bar for the amperage is set...
  3. NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

Couldn't log in after about 15 minutes of trying so gave up, read the paper, had coffee and breakfast, meditated for half an hour and then tried again. Logged in first time (on laptop) and we're number 11,928.
  4. New to EVs (And Ford... And Cars made in the past decade...) - Any tips from you experts?

Learn to drive the one pedal mode--definitely one of the unsung benefits of going EV. As for me, I probably ignore most of the technology, although most of the safety features are sweet. Enjoy your ride!
  5. New weird talent after driving MME for almost 2 years..

I had a BMW i3 prior to my MME and honed my one-pedal skills on it. I adapted pretty quickly--I drove the i3 home 50+ miles from the dealership, including some stop-and-go traffic on So Cal freeways and I recall I only had to touch the brakes twice. With the MME, under non-emergency conditions I...
  6. Update 4.2.6

Well, what do you know if that didn't work. Thank you for your help. This was after two 1-hour drives that I followed with a 3 1/2 hour charge--plus turning off the headlights. (FWIW, I had unsuccessfully tried updating after a longish charge before.) So was it really turning off the headlight...
  7. Update 4.2.6

I have tried to update after a long charge without success, but the headlight switch is new to me. I'm sitting at 64% charge right now, so I'll run that down a bit more so I can do a longer charge and give this a try. Thank you!
  8. Update 4.2.6

I haven't been able to do this update for a month plus either, although it did manage to do the PAAK update in the middle of this period. My service guy says that there's nothing that they can do their end and I need to contact Ford. I've reached out to Ford via the contact on this forum, so...
  9. Ford Power-up 4.2.6

Is there a way I can tell if I have received 4.2.6? For the past month, it has been failing to install each night, and then yesterday rather than being told for the 30th time or so that 4.2.6 would be installed at 1 am, instead my screen said that 21B36 would be installed instead. That update...
  10. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Thank you so much--both for the list of updates (more than I expected) and guidance for the service advisor!
  11. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Hoping someone can check VIN# 3FMTK3RM6MMA36496. The 4.2.6 update has been unsuccessfully updating for almost a month now, so wondering if I can shed any light on the issue.
  12. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Just got my car back from having 21P22, 22S41B and the BlueCruise programming done and I'd love to see what may have changed on the list of modules that MikeG so kindly ran for me earlier. I did specify some complaints in order to have other modules updates, but it looks like only WACM was...
  13. 22S41 Recall Software - Server Deployment Issue

FWIW, going to the dealer today for windshield/roof recall and I had planned on them doing the HVBJB update as well. Since it's likely going to be there several days and if this update comes back online, I wonder if I'll get it. Or more precisely, if I *should* get it.
  14. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Thank you so much! The iPhone for sure gets hot and now that you mention it, every once in a while (but not regularly) the seat doesn't adjust for the different fobs. Can I presume if I bring this up, the SA will know what that means in terms of modules to update?
  15. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Going to the dealer tomorrow to (finally) get the windshield/roof recall taken care of, as well as CS21P22. (And I guess I'm not going to get the HVBJB software if I understand the other thread correctly.) In the meantime, can I ask someone to check on my VIN: 3FMTK3RM6MMA36496. Thank you!
  16. Charging best practice--extended absence

I appreciate the replies. As for a lightning strike, around here an earthquake or tsunami would be more likely, but I certainly get your point.
  17. Charging best practice--extended absence

If I'm going to be away for three weeks, how should I handle charging for my car? I'm planning on charging to 90% and leaving the car plugged in the entire time (Older JuiceBox Pro as the EVSE, in case that matters), but checking to make sure this is correct.
  18. EV tax credits in Build Back Better Act - income limit?

What if an income limit on the EV tax credit is the only way that Joe Manchin would agree to be the 50th vote for the BBBA? I'm not necessarily saying that's the case with the EV credit, although Manchin has looked for all sorts of opportunities to moderate the bill. Just keep in that we're...
  19. Stereo different in Select vs Premium trims?

Interesting comment in that I think the B&O sounds good at somewhat higher (but not crazy loud) volumes, but it seems quite tinny and shallow at lower volumes.
