Thanks! I had 21p22 done at the dealer so that should make it easier.
One last question can you leave a door or window open my laptop doesn’t have the best battery life so it would ideally be plugged in throughout.
So now that i have the PSU sorted. For the Bluecruise update do i just follow the instructions in 21G01. Sorry for asking dumb questions but this threads very long and hard to parse whats still accurate from it.
What Power supplies are people using? I have a job 1 that hasn't gotten updates since June i really want Bluecruise for my 100mile daily commute. I've bought a mongoose and 10amp psu but i understand that might not be enough.
I haven’t reached out yet but it’s the entire path from breaker panel to charge port. 110 is 40 above ambient. I would assume it was normal too if I hadn’t been using it for several months before it started.
I haven't if its heating up this much there is something wrong in the circuit. Lowering the amperage would just be making it easier to ignore.
I really want to like the thing its well built but I'm getting ready to just write it off.
I'm not sure why there is so much argument over this. The prices seem to be incredibly inflated online I bought a Hubbel 9450A for $35 at an electrical supply house. The Leviton was $15 at Home Depot. The Leviton is built from cheap plastic and have much smaller non copper conductors...
Update 5.40 seems to solve the problem. When charge is complete FordPass just says charge complete not Paused. I remote started the car this morning and it seems charging resumed to maintain the battery.
The logging on acharger.ca seems to be a bit confused hopefully another update fixes that...
It's with the Smart, I would wait a bit longer before deciding if you can they seem very keen to fix issues as we find them.
Honestly I'm going to give it till august if I still don't like it I may buy an OpenEVSE kit for $250 and install the Grizzl-e Charge cable in it.
Fullerton programmed mine with no question the bag I gave them even had the 3rd Party logo on it. The Fob and key were in factory sealed packaging though.
It's worth using the EA 350kW chargers. In the first few minutes when starting below 40% I've seen up to 170kW. I don't remember what the exact reason was but it was mentioned in one of @OutofSpecKyle 's videos. Something about pack voltage.
I haven't really tested it yet now that I think about it it does switch to charging paused as soon as it reaches full. I suspect I will probably have that issue.
It definitely still needs work but at least they are obviously actively working on.
