Here is proof: In early 2023 I hit a rabbit at about 60MPH and it destroyed one of the shutters on the front. (Which to me is a dumb concept, why have something so fragile that is so imperative to the proper operation of the car in an area where anything on the road can damage it.)
Anyways...
I recently switched to a Tesla Model Y Performance. Previously I had the MME Select.
You can see here the deal that Tesla gave me for the MME as a trade-in
https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/tesla-wants-your-mach-e.38866/
I have had the Tesla for almost a week.
Here is what I can tell you...
The dealership I purchased my MME from is the largest Ford dealership in Northern California. I am sure they do good work on F-150's etc.,
But when it comes to EV's, what is happening is the service manager is sent to training on the MME and he is supposed to come back and train the...
I have seen the FP app, combine 2 charging sessions together for the KWH total and for the total time charging.
i.e. you charge your car, unplug and then when you plug back in to charge again, it did not clear out the registers for the charge time and KWH delivered from the previous charge and...
There were a couple issues
1st was the software change that Ford made to compensate for the faulty charge port issue. Instead of fixing the charge ports, they changed the software to throttle the Level 2 charge speed to keep the charge port from overheating.
And nobody even knew it had...
They must want it if they were offering $6,000 more than CarMax.
In fact, $17,000 was more than KBB or Edmunds was valuing the car. They were around $15k
I got $2,000 off the price, $1,000 through the Tesla referral program, and $1,000 off for military veterans.
It is not my first car...
So far it seems similar, I think the Tesla is a just a smidge smoother over normal roads
but on bumpy roads the big tires on the Tesla seem to make it worse
I like the MME as a daily driver, I mean you see how many miles I put on it in 3 years, but there were a lot of issues that frustrated me...
The biggest reason is recharge speed and the supercharger network.
Also, everyone that has a Tesla seems to love their car.
I have not been able to take my MME on a trip out of town for 2 years since EA was the only option and we all know what a disaster they are.
After I received my NACS...
I will. I just went onto Ebay and there are some adapters on there listed for $600
I am not crazy like that, I will probably list for $100-150
I like to hook people up and give them good deals.
I just need to remember my ebay login and p/w
Have you seen the new RAMCHARGER truck
91KWH battery with a 3.6L engine connected directly to a generator

Sorry to hear,
The only way you will get @Ford Motor Company to respond on here is if you post a picture of your car and say "this is the best car ever, and all my friends like the way it looks."
This is one of the many issues I have with the MME software & design. There is no indication anywhere on any screen to tell you if the battery is being preconditioned.
I do not know what Ford's problem is, why do they not make vital information like this available somewhere, like, I don't know...
