  1. New CarPlay App Is Alive!

I updated to 6.7.0 last night when I saw this, but the Ford CarPlay app still didn't have these new features.
  2. Free Blue Cruise offered, then “just kidding” from Ford.

I didn’t get a call, but during November and December the app was showing $24.99/month instead of the usual $49.99/month. Ford must have just felt generous around that time. There were threads about it here, but nobody from @Ford Motor Company ever chimed in. Wonder if we’ll ever see offers like...
  3. New CarPlay App Is Alive!

Heck, I'd even take a medium or small precondition button! I'd even be happy with just a "precondition upon arrival" button that would automatically decide if it's needed and make sure things are preconditioned for a specific destination or waypoint. That way I don't have to worry about the...
  4. Free Blue Cruise offered, then “just kidding” from Ford.

Googling that number brings up two results: one for another post on this forum by @Gino_A who said they got a similar call (maybe they can share if they ever actually got the free trial), and a site called Robokiller that says "users have reported receiving spam calls from this number." Other...
  5. Free Blue Cruise offered, then “just kidding” from Ford.

Are you sure the original call was legit? Doesn’t sound like something a huge company would do when they could send a text, email, or push notification. Anybody else ever get a call from the Driver Assist team?
  6. Shout out to Leif Johnson Ford of Austin

What the heck was wrong with it?
  7. $0.20/kWh Charging this Weekend + IONNA Birthday Meetups 🎂

Awesome to see a bunch of folks at the Ionna @ Wally's in Fenton, MO! Perfect excuse to try out Ionna for the first time and get a chopped brisket sandwich. IYKYK.
  8. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

This is great to hear! Not a perfect solution, but at least it's something! Personally, I've never followed the route given by the built-in nav anyway. I always plan on ABRP or something and plug in the next stop as I go. Don't get me wrong, I would love to rely on the built-in nav, but it's...
  9. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

Hopefully. Maybe somebody with an OBD Bluetooth thingy could see if we get preconditioning? If I remember correctly, Tesla was always in the public charging app and tapping on one of them would route you to the supercharger. It makes sense that that would still be in the nav.
  10. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

No. It’s been pointed out by others that a software update would be required for that. I haven’t gotten any software updates for a while. To be clear, I had to search for “Tesla” in the nav. The station wasn’t added automatically. Also, if I add a supercharger as a waypoint on a route, it won’t...
  11. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

Yeah, that’s how I understand it to work. I’m in a 2021. But neither of the superchargers in the pictures are magic dock station. The one I navigated to is the one on Riverport Dr. in St. Louis and the one showing the info is in Galesburg, IL. I’ve used both of those stations and neither are...
  12. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

If I search for a Tesla supercharger, I can get some info on it and I can navigate to it. Does the fact that it shows the little charging icon mean that it will precondition if needed?
  13. Doubled My Battery Energy (by simply warming up battery)

Really good info! I'd be interested in knowing how much just charging the battery on a level 2 charger warms it up. Also, how much of a difference does it make if my charger is set 48A, 40A, 32A, or lower? Like, is there any benefit to slower charing speeds because they keep the battery warm?
  14. Did the built in nav really route me to a Supercharger?

@Ford Motor Company I get that you wouldn’t be able to tell us if there is an update in the works, but could you tell us if the plan is specifically to NOT add Tesla to the built in nav on older models?
  15. Did the built in nav really route me to a Supercharger?

It’s probably not too difficult for the developers to implement. Obviously, they already have. Unfortunately, software devs don’t get to make the decisions about what features get added and released. Somebody at Ford who makes those decisions has to decide that it’s worth allocating development...
  16. Thank you to PaaK / Ford App engineers

The iPhone 17 is fairly new, right? Do you think the improved reliability is related to that?
  17. Did the built in nav really route me to a Supercharger?

Maybe I got excited too early? I see that the location I was routed to shows as having "Adapter Included for Other EVs". Still, first time I've seen a supercharger pop up at all and it's not the first time I've put in that destination.
  18. Did the built in nav really route me to a Supercharger?

I’m planning a trip to Chattanooga, TN and put the destination into the built in nav (2021 Select) to see where it would route me. To my surprise, it added a stop at a Tesla Supercharger! First time I’ve had that happen. Anybody else with a pre-2025 seeing this?
  19. Update to the Ford EV Roadmap. No impact to Mustang Mach-E

When I got my Mach E (my first EV) I was really worried that I’d made a mistake. Only 230 miles of range?! The TDI I had before could go 600 miles on a tank of diesel! I decided to take the plunge anyway and quickly realized that the 600 miles of range only mattered because it meant I didn’t...
  20. Update to the Ford EV Roadmap. No impact to Mustang Mach-E

@Ford Motor Company any insight into how much longer the F-150 Lightning will receive OTAs? Will this announcement have any impact on MME OTAs?
