Are you sure the original call was legit? Doesn’t sound like something a huge company would do when they could send a text, email, or push notification. Anybody else ever get a call from the Driver Assist team?

If I search for a Tesla supercharger, I can get some info on it and I can navigate to it. Does the fact that it shows the little charging icon mean that it will precondition if needed?

Really good info! I'd be interested in knowing how much just charging the battery on a level 2 charger warms it up. Also, how much of a difference does it make if my charger is set 48A, 40A, 32A, or lower? Like, is there any benefit to slower charing speeds because they keep the battery warm?

@Ford Motor Company I get that you wouldn’t be able to tell us if there is an update in the works, but could you tell us if the plan is specifically to NOT add Tesla to the built in nav on older models?

It’s probably not too difficult for the developers to implement. Obviously, they already have. Unfortunately, software devs don’t get to make the decisions about what features get added and released. Somebody at Ford who makes those decisions has to decide that it’s worth allocating development...
