I test drove one a couple days ago. While they were making a copy of my driver's license, they handed me the key and I walked up to the car outside. I noticed that as I got closer, the car "woke up" and puddle light came on. I believe it was on until I opened the door.
Thanks. Selecting the actual dealer I'm using shows the $1,000 rebate. It's always been that way on ford.com but it's not clear that a dealer has to follow that and give the $1,000 rebate if using Options. Maybe @Nav will get some addtional information from them.
Yes, Sheehy! I was just there yesterday and test drove one. My car is scheduled for two weeks from now. They were very nice and friendly. And seemed excited about the car. I also heard from another customer (Facebook) that they didn't do the $1000 rebate.
Thanks. @hybrid2bev , if you have any info on the $1,000 rebate in NoVa that would be great. I tried searching your posts but didn't see anything specific to the availability of the rebate in these areas.
Dealer in here (Springfield VA) is aware of Options but says the $1,000 rebate is not available. Does anyone know if the $1,000 rebate in VA should always be available with Ford Options or are they trying to pull a fast one by me?
Test drove a premium this afternoon. Wind noise was noticeable on top part of front windshield. Based on some other reviews, I expected to be quieter. Glass roof was also higher than windshield. Hoping it's just some cars. My Acura certainly makes more noise from engine and road but wind...
Thanks everyone! Really good perspectives. My current lease is up at the end of March so timing is pretty good. The only problem that really concerned me was the LVB but it seems like they have a fix for that. Now just hoping my dealer doesn't try anything funny.
This forum has been a great resource of information and I'm not sure I would have waited this long without it. I read it pretty much every day. Lots of very knowledgeable people here and the few insiders are awesome. I think it's fair to say that this is a high-end car in terms of cost and...
Given the responses from current owners that have had no issues and owners with problems and assuming that many forum members are not chiming in, it would be interesting to see how many owners are having problems vs owners with no problems. I can't tell if it's a few or most with some kind of...
My ETD was moved from 2/12 to 2/1 (on shop.ford) and 1/25 on ford.com but my dealer just told me that he's still seeing the car in Mexico and no ETA. Hard to tell who's got the most current information.
Given the mostly really good reviews, all we need now is shipping to begin! I wonder if the fact that since we haven't seen or heard much about shipping means that the issue is more complicated than expected becuase of the pandemic. Lots of review to watch and read while waiting.
Progressive has the Mach E listed and I was able to get a quote. Price was not much different than my current car (Acura) but maybe that's because they don't have enough informaiton on the Mach E.
Just read that other than Tesla, electric cars lose over 50% of their original value in three years. For those of you who plan to buy and keep ithe MME for longer, just wondering if you have considered the possible resale value after 5 to 8 years. It seems that maybe resale is probably not a...
