From all we know the Mach-E didn't start as a Mustang, they choose that direction mid-development. The presentation here is really interesting, but I honestly would love to see what they had in mind before adding the Mustang theme to the vehicle. Besides the DRL I think the final design is...
Don't mix up sketches from the website with what the actual car will deliver. If I remember correctly at the event in London they told us that the display will look pretty will be slightly updated to what the press cars had, but don't expect any huge changes. They didn't go into how deep you can...
The Taillights are actually looking like that. But it seems like the rendered car tinted the white parts of the rear lights so dark, that it looks different.
On M6G the user Twin Turbo stumbled across this site, which shows some early concepts of the S550 refresh. These sketches are from designer Chris Stevens, who is responsible for the Mustang refresh.
But interestingly in the pictures we can clearly see a sketch of what looks like a Mach-E.
It...
I can only talk about the 6th Gen Mustang, but it had a lot of issues in the first model year. Especially the build quality was horrible with bad fitment of a lot of parts like hood and front+fender not lining up at all, crooked installed rear window, flapping hood when driving highway speed...
Since the car has the prototype door handles, it is not a production car. I was told the production car doorhandles will be different and be more like little a winglet
"Grabber Blue Metallic" - What? Since when is Grabber Blue a metallic color? It definitely was not on the regular Mustangs and I'm pretty shore the Mach-E showcars in Grabber weren't metallic too
Yeah, just take a look at how good the Dodge Challenger sells. The engine is nice, but with the weigth and suspension you really can only drive fast in a straight line. On Throttle Houses tracktest on YouTube the Hellcat was slower on track than a Golf R...
The software in the prototypes is very very early and unstable. If you click a few things on the touchscreen it crashes pretty fast with not reacting to input anymore, throwing strange error messages and so on. We should wait for final production-near testcars that are handed to reviewers before...
The articles just rely on this press release:
"Mustang Mach-E suspension, steering, electronic stability control and Mach-E 4 all-wheel drive settings are tuned specifically for European roads and driving styles. "
But see my other topic with the interview with Darren Palmer. Most of the things...
I got the chance to interview Darren Palmer, Global Product Development Director for battery electric Ford and Lincoln vehicles worldwide, at the european Mach-E reveal event in London. As promised I wanted to share with you guys the full interview.
He shared really interesting insights into...
It's Carbonized Gray, here's a pic from me where the car was standing at the other location ?
Full video of my Darren Palmer interview should be online this evening ?
Here's my video about the Mach-E Event in London. Since it's in german, please use the subtitle translation feature for the moment. I will have to do a writeup and upload the full interviews and official presentation later
As I mentioned the blue car is a testdrive prototype that is only build for being driven. They have other cars that are made for being a showcar to be an example how production specs will look like. The satin blue wrap sadly will not be available for the Mach-E, but the car really looked...
There will be like no bigdifferences between EU und US driving. I was told suspension, steering, etc are tuned in Europe but the same settings will for the most part be used for the US too
Edit: Actually got that on camera.
Since the interior shots have the big red engine stop emergency button on top on the dash I'm sure they are from the blue one. The blue car was just a test drive prototype, don't take anything seriously you see visually on this car. The grey and red ones on the press event were for showing a...
