In a competitive market, it is better to incorporate great features as soon as you can. Tesla has shown how it's done. Ford just has to duplicate the feature.

Not hard but following those steps should not be necessary. And the Tesla screen notice is great too. A responsive car maker looks for ways of making cars and their interfaces easier to use. This is certainly one that has been frequently requested.

I can confirm that this is an issue. I have a Grizzl-E charger and often I have to wiggle the connection or unplug and plug in again to avoid the issue. I wait until I see blue lights before I walk away.

There is a setting to turn off the 30 minute auto shut down. From memory, it’s under the vehicle category.

To be honest I only tried fully on. It’s possible that accessory mode would work too.

That’s correct. The was no fob or paak on the car. The car warns when the door is closed that no key is detected. The only way that I found to lock the door is with the key pad on the door column.

I lock the door using the buttons on the inside of the door. Accessory mode, as I understand things, does not run the A/C (or heater).

I think the dealer quality for Mach-E's depends on whether they are into them in a big way or not. Knowledge comes from experience and if they sell lots of Mach-E's, they seem to know what they are doing.

Canadian owners having trouble with dealers: Some owners have been told that the recall software is not available in Canada. I had mine done today at Island Ford. You can show your dealer this image if they don't believe you.

For Canadian owners: The update is available at Canadian dealers. It doesn't show up in the app or at ford.ca, but I phoned my dealer and they have it available. I have a Friday appointment to have it installed. Even if this doesn't cure the problem, I want to make sure the car isn't bricked...
